If you’re a developer, there’s nothing worse from a user experience perspective than an app update making me manually close things out. Like you already made me elevate to admin for the install, and you know exactly which apps are problematic. Just kill them or give me a one button option to close

Never understand why anyone does this. If you work at a place that tries to gas light you out of 2-4 weeks of your paid benefits (which has a 4-5 figure dollar value as part of your job title), you’ve got much bigger problems. Start by burning that hell hole to the ground, you’re better than that.

So now that we’ve kicked out all of the immigrants, it’s time to ask: how’s everyone enjoying their agriculture, cleaning and construction jobs? What? Wait, you don’t want to do any of that? But what about your jobs being stolen? Huh, weird, guess that wasn’t why you’re a loser after all, was it?

environmental regulations don’t “hinder growth”, they make corporations responsible for the messes they make. Right now, one of the largest “silent”subsidies in the history of the US is the government cleaning up corpo toxic waste or treating the impacted people made sick. It’s corporate welfare

I think there’s a very real possibility we see more Republicans turn against Trump over the coming months. It’ll only take a fraction of them to do it, and the rest will follow. Many of them behind closed doors can’t stand whats happening, but they know they’ll be singled out. Need to turn en masse

This is a huge, terrible mistake. Ignoring the problem and hoping it goes away is cowardly, and the Democrats have to fight, goddamnit. Even if that fighting means sitting through his nonsense in silence and refusing to clap, that sends a powerful message. The Republicans use this constantly

If you are an American who is reading this - it’s time to stop sitting on the sidelines. I don’t care how busy your life is, darkness is covering the world once again, and we must take a stand to save our country before it’s too late.

Trump just put a 10-25%+ sales tax on the American worker, to pay for the upcoming tax cut for the 1%. Tell me again how he’s helping the little guy?

“The forest was shrinking but the trees kept voting for the axe, for the axe was clever and convinced the trees that because his handle was made of wood he was one of them.” No time has ever embodied this quote more than today in modern American history

They keep saying it's to "stop the killing", but the German said it out loud the other day. "We want to end the sanctions to normalize economic relations for gas" A couple cents less per gallon, or a couple extra billy in the bank, always trumps principals and silly concepts like "Democracy"

I think the greatest contrast of social media right now is that it is being used by a large, popular and well-funded modern Luddite movement to amplify their message. The most modern technologies of humanity being used to tell the masses how evil those technologies are without any hint of irony

Oh sure, the immigrants making $5/hr are your enemies, sure. It’s definitely not the guys make $50,000/hr by exploiting the system to keep the first guy stuck at $5/hr

Folks like Hakeem Jeffries and Chuck Schumer, cow towing to billionaires and the corporate machine while having zero spine when it comes to fighting Repubs, absolutely HAVE to go.

It’s 100% true. The Democrat party of 2025 tries to stand for everything, and as a result manages to stand for nothing. It’s time to return the party to the FDR values - workers rights, living wages, healthcare, paying the fair share - the things that actually matter to 99.9% of the population.

We absolutely have to vote out the likes of Hakeem Jeffries and Chuck Schumer. They both are hurting the parties in drastically different ways, and are weak, uninspiring leaders. Where is our (Democrats) Project 2025? Why are we not standing and campaigning and advertising NEW DEAL VALUES.

Yaknow what government spending they should cut ASAP? All of the funding that prevents so many Red states from bankruptcy, funds their health care, roads police, fire Yeah that would be a great thing to cut. Those states should quit freeloading and pull themselves up by their boot straps #ElonMusk

3.56 million Dem votes were suppressed across the major swing states during this election. Kyle Kulinski did a segment on it covering the investigation. It should be national news because this election actually was stolen. Skip to 2:50 youtu.be/8NfY2I75fdI?...

If Elon gets away with dismantling the courts, it will truly be the end of the US experiment as it has stood for 250 years. They are the check on the power of the Executive, and what prevents the president from acting as a King. Don’t be duped by their Smokescreen lies of corruption or partisanship
000
Meticulous @meticulous.gg · 10/02/2025
They are 100% preparing to shatter the checks and balances that limit executive power. They’ll do it under the guise of “corruption”, and their because of which their supporters will cheer. The constitution only matters until it gets in their way

Meticulous @meticulous.gg · 10/02/2025
The logic Elon Musk is using labels anyone who questions his actions as corrupt. He won’t debate the laws they say he broke, but rather the integrity of the people and organizations standing up to him. This cannot be allowed, stay the on point of his crimes, don’t let him control the narrative.
000
Meticulous @meticulous.gg · 10/02/2025
The flag on your passports becomes completely irrelevant to you once you become a billionaire. You are no longer a “citizen” of a country, and any laws that try to treat you as such are only an obstacle that you must overcome or break.

A century of workers rights protection, ethical financial enforcement, and scam protection has been wiped out in the last 2 weeks under Trump and Musk. The “Populist Right” was a lie. It’s only about power and money #elonmusk

They’ll start ignoring the Constitution with relatively small things, like dismantling USAID. Eventually people will start to lose track of how many times it happened, and will stop paying attention. And that’s when they’ll go for the big ones

Stop falling for the culture war bait. It’s a distraction, and they’ve got everyone fighting about it while they pillage the US economy, destroy worker protections, and erode the checks and balances that protect all of us

Imagine the funding all of these "bankrupt" programs would have if it wasn't legal for mega rich people / corporate entities to escape their tax liabilities. Trump's taxes from a few years ago, showing he paid less in the last decade than someone making 50k/yr, illustrating exactly what's wrong

US giving Israel 10s of billions a year to fight their wars without any questions asked. Meanwhile, one of the world’s most iconic US cities is on fire and Republican leadership is talking about “conditions” for disaster recovery funds. It might be the most despicable contradiction in my lifetime

We are truly living in the Age of Oligarchs. Out of control income inequality, a government hell bent on funneling wealth upwards to a select few, and unelected billionaires shaping the will of politicians to their agendas. Who will be our Teddy Rosevelt? It sure isn’t Donald Trump

It’s a shame how much the #bluesky growth has slowed after the several weeks. We really need to sustain 1-2M new users per week at a minimum to have any chance of becoming the next major platform.

The whole narrative of “socialized medicine means waiting lists” is a hilarious irony. Right now, in 2025, it takes: 3 months to see my Primary Care 6 months to see my dentist 10 months to see my dermatologist Tell me again about waiting lists.

Having health insurance companies be owned privately, and allowing them to be publicly traded entities are two totally separate conversations. We may be stuck with the first for awhile longer, but we should put an end to the second immediately. Shareholders should never come before patient health.

The Trump-Russia investigation was one of the most damaging things to ever happen to our society, because it made a large contingent of the population believe that there is zero influence occurring from the Russian intelligence apparatus. But they are at war with us, with our minds, and winning.

I would guarantee a good chunk of it is bots. Russia has one of the most sophisticated digital misinformation footprint, and they know how to create a narrative in the minds of Americans. It's sickening how successful they have been with it over the last several years.
