there's a lot more nuance that i can't really jot down into something as concrete as text and i don't really have the brain power or the smarts to really fully articulate it but i think anime has that thing where a 20+ year older crowd goes into it in the same way that smthn like steven universe has

like obviously there's a discussion to be had of like, when you're designing a character as sexy you don't wanna make them 16 or whatever because that's just fucking strange but it's people just doing it for a publication where comics are made to advertise toys to younger crowds

We talked abt it a before but even with Toon aesthetic being the longest running one it wasn't like you had WW, PH, ST, Four Swords, FSA, Minish, and TH all next to eachother and even the direct sequels like TP and ST were all distinct enough to not Just Be The Same Shit

Not to be petty, but I remember someone who refused to play SoP because they couldn't play as a girl (they did this for like every game, which is like, understandable, I guess) and then once they added the patch that let's you switch Jack's model with Sophia or Neon she played it and got real mad-

I'm so burnt out that all my attempts to calm down end up making me even more tired
