The worst part of every Winter Olympics is how I can’t get through a single day of figure skating without crying about Katia and Sergei. I swear I have never loved watching ANYONE on the ice the way I loved watching them.

Ekaterina Gordeeva and Sergei Grinkov, the most decorated figure skating pair of all time, pictured at the 1989 World Championships after securing their gold medal. The photo is framed from the waist up and depicts both skaters smiling and clapping, dressed in white costumes with gold embellishments. They stand at center ice with the event crowd (out of focus) in the background.

Updated my phone + redid my home screen and I feel like a NEW! WOMAN! Ignore the hydration situation, added the widget because I haven’t been using the app 🙃

I cannot even express how excited I was to open Finch today and see that December’s event is NUTCRACKER THEMED!!? Anyway, November was a hard month, and this made me feel so much better about the effort that I was able to muster up. I love this app.

A screenshot of my Finch app with statistics about my self-care activities in November’s Latte Lounge event. I completed every day of the event, generated 6474 energy for my virtual pet, unlocked 63 rewards, and caught a raccoon micropet! I was a day late opening the summary, so at the top of the graphic, my virtual pet is celebrating amongst the backdrop and characters from December’s Nutcracker event.

My birb is pink and cream and wears a tan fox sweater, dark red pants, brown boots, and aviator glasses. She is located in a snowy outdoor scene, accompanied by the recently caught raccoon micropet, and surrounded by birbs dressed as the Nutcracker Prince, Mouse King, and Sugarplum Fairy.

I’ve been down with a cold for like a damn week now and I forgot to post about the Dolly musical, but y’all. My girl was a DREAM! I cannot say enough good things about Carrie— sending that voice lesson inquiry remains one of the best choices I’ve ever made!

This is my typical work drink— if you’re a strong coffee and/or cinnamon girly, I happen to think she is elite 🙆🏻‍♀️

A photo of the Starbucks drink I had at work this morning, with my store’s back room storage in the background. Per the sticker, the drink is a quad grande iced blonde flat white with one pump of chai, two pumps of white mocha, oat milk, cinnamon powder, and extra ice. The drink is half-finished.
