It's not easy to be doing good in some field. Then crash into the ground, then try to recover then have your wings clipped again and feel like an invisible reject practically overnight. Like there are days of hope where you're in you "doer" mode and then it comes back and you're just no one. Zero.

Awaiting my return to full time posting with some appropriate literature.

I had it good just talking about movies. Only smaller communities are made of real people now. Small, niche, even with people who argue among themselves are at least genuine.

Since I made a new account with almost no activity it just became so obvious that everything is a scam. All I see are the most popular topics such as politics, finances or sport and everything is a hidden or not so hidden crypto scam even on government level. Everything is so artificial it's scary.

Since now I'm doing something to help my case, and I'm not so alone, I feel better. Yeah duh inaction is the worst. Except it may take a few more days. Of course I'd rather wait a few days than a few weeks or worse, be stuck in this limbo forever.

Still no info from Twitter regarding my suspension. I wrote another appeal. As detailed as possible. The scammer's account is still active so it can be still reported to the Help center (for haassement) while stressing that my new account wasn't an attempt at ban evasion and was flagged by accident.

Until I get my account back this will be my account for communication on twitter. Unless this one dies as well I'm using temporary email.

This is so bleak. I was upset when I lost the account now I'm numb. I sent appeal, even a couple, I'll let it rest a day or two then write again if encessary and then again if I get it but without all functions restored. I don't know what the system detected but a human needs to look at it not a bot

Best case scenario is I get it back in 1-2 days because I heard this is how long it may take. But even if that happens I don't know if I want to still report that hacked account because I don't want them to just permanently delete everything. Other people who are rebuilding are also in danger.

You were also accused by their system of having a fake account? I don't know how they detected it if I made that one using unique email. I don't know what might link me to the past one. The IP address at the moment of creation? I don't know how they can determine what's what now but I appealed.

Oh now I still see the hacked account. I want this to end.

I once asked one about this just to check and he immediatelly said how much it's gonna cost (in crypto). Told him since I was just a victim of a hacker this attempt at a scam was rather pathetically obvious and lazy and he agreed.

A scammer bot replied to this message? Lmao so Bluesky also has this problem? Remeber there are no "ethical hackers" out there waiting to help poor victims of scam attacks for nothing.

Maybe it's a good sign the old account is banned and twitter is taking precautionary measures. I want to have this all behind me and focus on rebuilding everything. I don't think I deserved any of these punches in the last few days.

They literally hit the person reporting a crime. The thing is I see the hacked account is (for the time being hopefully for good) deleted which isn't as good as getting it back but better than if it were to just stay there. I pray my new account isn't deleted as well and suspension ends soon.

There are so many hacked accounts now big and small. And the number is growing. And now they're suspending real accounts and not the hacked ones? I can't go on. And now to wait a few more days fo an appeal that may go nowhere?

I just wanted to talk about some really fun films I didn't sign up to go through any of this.

I wonder. I'll have a backup prepared just in case because to be fair I'm not sure what are the chances. I just needed real people to communicate with because on one side there are scammers and on the other IT tech support that I can't talk to immediatelly on livechat or anything.

It's a shame I used a temporary email for my account (because I already had a private one). But whether I get the old one or make a new one I will just create a new gmail account. I don't know what else to do for safety I guess just be more cautious.

And yes this guy on twitter is me @MilianEmil2787 But it's only a temporary account so I could look for help 😄 If I won't be able to recover the old account I will create an entirely new one.

Supposedly the account can be recovered within 30 days even if it's deleted instead of suspended. Fortunatelly I have an image with my personal data proving I was the owner of the account and my phone number is still active. Needless to say everything I've been working on is postponed indefinitely

Yeah I hope I won't have trouble with that data leak but I want to think nothing that could be really harmful to me was exposed. But shame about that account it perhaps won't be possible to recover a deleted account. New account new me? I'll give it a few days. Waiting for the reply from X tech bros

Now I regret I didn't do more on this platform to have more followers here (but I had simply not enough time). I don't know if account that was hacked and deleted can be recovered. If not I will give information about my new account here and on Discord.

I wish I could talk to someone who's really goot at these matters who can just tell me if it's possible yes/no to spare me time and I can hopefully start rebuilding.

Yeah he told me to contact that guy I changed my email and I think some of my data was compromised.

I think it was deleted by the hacker. I'd have to just know if it's possible to still get it back. If not I may as well start new.

I'll try to have it restored. I don't want to create a new one just yet because I don't want to give up on the old one. But I'd love to know if given all the information I had the tech support can "take over" that account and let me log in to it using a new email address.

I contacted the support team. I have the guys account, linked in etc. but I don't think anything more can be done. At least I didn't send money to some rando but he got me hacked anyway. My acount has a "new" email address and I can't access it I hope something can be done.

Here's the first ever confirmed photo of Takeshi Kimura (Kaoru Mabuchi) who wrote Rodan, The Human Vapor, Matango, Destroy All Monsters, Godzilla vs. Hedorah and others. Discovery made by me, November 23, 2024. One holy grail less.

Crossposting with twitter From one of the Japanese books (I should try to find out which one) about Godzilla history. Tanaka, Ifukube, Honda, Tsuburaya and Godzilla looking at the inspirations for the first Godzilla design. The scene looks 100% historically accurate to me.

Godzilla Game, released in 1963 is the oldest piece of Godzilla merchandise sold in the U.S. and probably the fist to be sold outside of Japan in general. Released by Ideal, the purpose was to fire missiles at Godzilla's vital spots. Ideal also released a version with King Kong also in 1963.

Another one of my favorite bits of Godzilla trivia from Twitter. Multiple Oscar winner Richard Edlund from ILM is a Godzilla fan and while filming space battle sequences in Star Wars he put a Mechagodzilla figue from Japan just above the camera. The entire setup has been preserved in a museum.

My 1st Bluesky exclusive. The boat that encounters Frankenstein in Frankenstein vs. Baragon (1965) was called Hari Maru, nicknamed "The Queen of Lake Biwa." It operated on the lake until 1982 when it was retired and dismantled the next year. Its replacement "Michigan" is still active to this day.

I believe the inside of the package shows that it was made in March (the photos are from an auction) so that's right before GRA. They had some idea of what Anguirus will look like but it sort of represents the era when there was only one film and no movie stills to get it 100% right.

Director's cut is 11/10. I still prefer the first movie though because it's less polished, raw and scary. The series ends on T2.

Has everyone seen this one yet? The oldest known piece of merchandise sold in association with Godzilla was this deck of Karuta playing cards. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karuta It's from 1955 but came out before Godzilla Raids Again was released. If you count it as a Godzilla toy it's the first one.
