Got a second very sketchy mailer attacking Klob from the left. Something tells me Citizens for Public Safety Transparency LLC, whose address is a warehouse in rural MN and has no business filing in the state, are not making these arguments in good faith
Two mailers: "Amy Klobuchar: a cop's best friend" and "Senator Amy Klobuchar supported half a billion to arm Israel in 2024”

I was on the literal last ride of the season so save this recommendation for next year: the Minneapolis Water Taxi boat tour is a delight.
Iconic Grain Belt sign and the Hennepin bridge, taken from the water just north of the bridge Bow of the boat with the box girder Merriam street bridge to Nicollet Island, looking south with the concrete arched Third Ave bridge just visible behind itCute electric Mpls water taxi boat. It has a canopy with solar panels and bench seating for 7.

On January 14, CBP agents pulled into a UMN parking lot and blocked the intersection in front of the Humphrey School, but UMN continued to claim there was no ICE activity on campus. With today's conference in this building, let's not forget the U's dangerously muddy comms during that time

On the first day of classes, the University of Minnesota surprise-launched a slightly different maroon-and-gold color scheme and in the process managed to fuck up the logo on umn.edu.
Screenshot of umn.edu homepage. The block-M word mark is cut off so it just says "University of M" in the header. The header is also a slightly darker shade of maroon than the page background, which is still using the previous brand color.

The traffic safety cameras the city is piloting for automated enforcement look different. They have radar sensors and I do not believe they store license plate data unless they've violated traffic laws #knowYourTrafficCameras

Flock gets all the attention, but Minneapolis PD uses a different vendor of license plate reader cameras (Insight LPR). They are usually mounted on stoplight mast arms and they are installed at 30 intersections around the city. As of late last year I added them all to deflock.me

The top has a metal hood overhanging the front, and the camera end has two circles (the cameras) with a larger rectangle next to them containing infrared lights

You will need to compile libgenders yourself if a nonbinary isn't available for your platform.
Programming with Genders

Many different APIs have been developed that allow programmers to parse
and query the genders file. "libgenders" is a C API which can be linked
by including genders.h and linking the library libgenders. "libgendersplusplus"
is a C++ class built on top of libgenders. "Libgenders" is a Perl module
developed with Perl extensions. "Genders" is another Perl module, but offers
a more traditional Perl API than "Libgenders." Python bindings are also
available under a "Genders" class. The reader can learn more about these
libraries by reading the manpages libgenders(3), Libgenders(3) and Genders(3).
See "help(Genders)" for Python documentation.

Every month or so I get an email that looks like it's legit from PayPal (SPF/DKIM valid) but is clearly phishing to get me to call a scam support number. Unrelated to any actual charge. I forward each one to PP fraud team, no reply or fix for months. Does not inspire confidence in their security
You paid ¥1,090 JPY to marilyn gramm, from noreply@paypal.com with a verified blue checkmark in the Gmail screenshot. The top of the email says "For review or cancellation, reach PayPal Support at" and a phone number in a non-ASCII unicode font, presumably because the scammer found a way to inject HTML into legitimate PayPal emails but had to bypass some rudimentary sanitizer that strips out phone numbers. Clown shit from a huge global payments platform
