Real quick rant, but fuck SEGA for this shit, I bought the game for around £70 because I was hoping the year 2 DLC would be more compelling vs year 1 DLC but got it bc of Mega Man The fact that I don't get access to the year 2 DLC and it being alongside a basegame price drop is dogshit

Mind you Retem didn’t have any issues outside of some w/e drops and people deluding themselves into room hopping “because it’s faster” (it wasn’t) A lot of issues only really cropped up with the Kvaris iteration of it.

- Trials drop the mats for augment and weapon upgrades and also amulets so it’s worth sticking around instead of spamming the boss (Alter Kvaris had this issue, Alter Retem did not) - Track that reminds me a lot of Forest in PSOBB - High Herzig is pretty fun, still hate Nex but it’s better

So the new Alter Realm fixed basically all problems with previous interations of the Interception Sectors by doing this: - Participation rewards increase with prolonged play (discourages room hopping strats) - High Agni, High Croc and High Elim as “invaders” helps keep things fresh

Something worth noting is that national dex completion in FRLG and RSE does not require any mythicals nor Ho-oh and Lugia, so for the sake of completion whenever RSE eventually rereleases you won’t need to care for Celebi and Jirachi

It just screams to me inexperience and a lack of understanding why things are the way they are in PSO2 and instead of fixing them either making the issue worse or doubling down on ??? choices, such as making the level 1-75 level grind longer than it currently is.

A lot of MMO's are getting classic servers and seeing tremendous growth because of it. Even going a step further and releasing new content that attempts to not compromise the OG experience player grew to love. It kinda made me wonder what a Classic PSO2 should look like.

I made my way up to Ironforge to check out the new Hall of Thanes dungeon they added and it was so good, slow and methodical pulls, standing and hitting, interactive objects Really good shit, and the nerf to dungeon exp isn’t felt due to the exp being loaded into the quests 10/10 experience
