I harvested 20lbs of tomatoes off of three plants in a single planter in my backyard, and made delicious sauce and it was time well spent. Still have plenty left for salsa.

Raccoon latrine update: the cameras went out last night with the power craziness, but I did catch some unusual birds at the feeder this morning. 😊 It’s springtime and I assume they’re looking for nesting sites. We live less than a mile from Lake Sammamish.

Was on the afternoon tour of the Puget Sound Express and saw the T137 pod catch two harbor porpoise, flipping one several feet in the air. Also saw a humpback - absolutely fantastic tour. Never expected to see that. These are just photos from my iPhone. Nice sunset too!

We lost Emma Thursday morning. She had a good, normal last day - played with a doggie friend, went for a walk, ate lots of treats and had plenty of snuggles. She passed peacefully and naturally, at 15 1/2 years old. She was the best dog, and left a big hole. Hug your doggie for us.

Sunshine on a cloudy day. I’m always torn about having a feeder, but it’s so nice having the birds up close. When my kids’ friends are over, it’s sometimes like it’s the first time they’ve seen a bird up close!
