10y ago I played my first concert w/the Hawaii Symphony (Brahms 3+Rachmaninoff Paganini Variations). Earth Wind and Fire were playing the arena next door and after our concert we drank and danced in the parking lot as they played "September" and it was the best youtu.be/Gs069dndIYk?...

Alto 2 baby!! But I think thats because the only other singing I do is is with my students so I'm used to singing middle register horn parts, (C3-F4). But I'm almost entirely in my chest voice, so I think I can sing higher if I had any sort of vocal technique

NGL the Stravinsky is gonna be hard. I can't rely on "tasting" the notes as I do with the horn (and I hear everything down a 5th so thats not helpful either lol) so its really gonna challenge my ear, but that's one of the reasons I'm doing this!

Brookyn Conservatory of Music Choir. I did have to do and audition which consisted of preparing a song with accompaniment (Jerusalem because I actually know all the words) and then I had to prepare the alto part on on Have Your Self a Merry Little Christmas to show I could harmonize
