I got to be there for the finale of the friend group's Big Walk save. Going through those final puzzles was such a moment, and then you get a touching conclusion. That game really is built from the ground up to make you connect with people. Absolutely beautiful, Goty.

I don't know what to do this season of pokemon. I feel like there are too many checks that have to be covered and it is a little miserable. I used to play to beat Charizard and Floette with coverage for rain/arch, but Golisopod is like... The final straw. That pokemon droideka is a monster!

Pax West 2026 was... Fine. It is amazing to see so few big companies use it to show off upcoming games. Unless you were really worried about Silent Hill or Among Us Story, or NIS games, there wasn't much to try. Lots of booths were in the same place they've been for 5 years, the same games sometimes

We went to the #VPL used book sale and I decided to look for any sci-fi worth picking up. I found a couple of short story collections, hopefully there are a few gems inside. #booksky

I finished listening to 'The Nerd Reich' by Gil Duran and... phew guys we are in trouble. Not because it is impossible to right the ship. But because doing so will require convincing your average American that we should help normal people instead of rich businessmen. So yeah... we are boned.

I know why it happens, but it is funny how many thrillers or dramas include a bombshell woman risking everything for a middle aged guy she literally just met. Think about how often the main character man ends up followed around by a lady who has no real connection to anything he is doing.

We finally saw the Avatar Aang movie. It was fun but it needed an extra 10 minutes somewhere. Like... What radicalized The Denied? Do we know? Was it policy failures of Republic City? Could Aang or his friends have helped them but failed? Or were they just supposed to be idiots with weapons?

I often worry I'm going to die in a way that is like... Dramatically ironic. Like some on the nose warning precedes my demise so it seems obvious in retrospect. My baby didn't want me to go outside and then the building door was ajar, so I went the long way around so I wasn't a plot point.

I was walking out the door to grab something from the car, and baby Bulba let out a cry & jerked forward. I stopped, and when I opened the door again, he repeated it. He realizes when I leave, I'm usually gone for hours, it startled him to see me going (I usually leave before he wakes).

I finally got to play Big Walk and... I get it now. You know that itch that is scratched when you play survival games in the vein of Rust? Spawn in, try to survive the other players, figure out what is going on in the world. Big Walk is like that, but with friendship and escape room puzzles.

This is my first time ever seeing this old WW2 era cartoon from Disney. It is amazing how much of Inside Out's DNA is in this short little piece. But also, the character designs are just great. I love that they were dunking on nazis the same way back then. The ubermensch indeed.

Honestly, thinking about VS System fills me with a deep sadness. I loved that game, and to me it really was a magic killer. My friends and I played at big tourneys during HS and CC. Then I blinked and the game was wasting away. I never knew why until now.

I listened to the very interesting book, 'Diary of a Man in Despair'. It is the journal of a guy living in Germany during WW2 and the best part is just how much he hates the nazis, to the point of flinging constant insults at them. It is wild how much it FEELS like a modern writer wrote it...

We watched the demon Slayer movie last night, infinity Castle part 1. Honestly for the first 30 minutes we were trying to remember everything that happened before (didn't those little girls die?) and then there were big fights, and then the longest death ever. So a nice big episode of demon slayer
