The first chapter of "Ooe: Ariake-hen" is now available online. The manga is an adaptation of the BL visual novel with art by Medamayaki. comic-walker.com/detail/KC_02... #大穢

This season's best Anime is relegated to a streaming service that specializes in hentai/ecchi stuff because the big boys are prudish cowards. In some ways it's quite nostalgic that we come full circle to this in the west. The anime is Even The Student Council Has Its Holes.

Annoying that my most anticipated anime this season is streaming on something called Oceanveil and reportedly they did a crappy job with the subs.

Gen AI has certain tendencies in its writing, animation and illustration style that you can absolutely subconsciously cue on, and it feels like being car sick under water.

It's so evil that Clipstudio put the flatten image at the bottom of the drop down window for when you hold your apple pencil down. The amount of times I've accidentally flattened a whole two page spread of art is...a lot. So annoying.

The whole drill rap scene feels like a CIA opp to replenish the prisons with young able bodied black men. They don't even need to funnel drugs in, just bot likes and followers and the kids will do the rest, including recording the evidence for them. Real Matrix type shit.

It's child abuse to force a trans kid to detransition. The trauma of that action is something they will carry for the rest of their lives every time they look in the mirror. One day the pendulum will swing back, and the cowards who capitulated will be treated as such.

Watched the new Hathaway's Flash. It's great for lovers of Gigi, of which I am. I liked the montage of her doing interior design. Looking forward to the next movie in 10 years.

All Brubaker had to do was show up and cash the checks. Hell, he probably could have cashed the checks and not shown up. You're doing too much my guy.

I'd like to get into 3D character sculpting with a 3D printer, someday I think. Whenever I see those cool models people make, it looks so fun. Maybe when I turn 50 I'll make that and writing my focus. I could make zines of my stories with a catalog of the various models I've made.

My big issue with how people say they consume art is the implication that you eat it and move on to the next course. Art should be lived with. It changes with you. You come back 10 years later and the meanings change on you. That's a relationship to art. Not this mindless scrolling shit.

YOU DON'T "CONSUME" ART MOTHERFUCKER. YOU EXPERIENCE IT. YOU FEEL IT. YOU ENGAGE WITH IT. YOU WRESTLE WITH IT. YOU LIVE IT. ART ISN'T A LITTLE MORSEL YOU GOBBLE UP.

American government trying to figure out the most expedient way to erase trans people from public life, but the only normie discourse about trans lives is fucking Harry Potter and hypothetical scenarios where trans girls might consider playing basketball.

Went off HRT this year after 20 plus years, because my state banned coverage of it for trans adults. I don't give a fuck if you watch Harry Potter or not. House is already burned down and you're arguing about shitty TV.

Watched this on YouTube. Probably the most important film for understanding the last 20 years. Basically if Lain was made post 9/11. One of those films Criterion is too cowardly to release.
