Episode 9 of VtM By the Book covering "Alien Hunger" is now out! This one's a bit of a departure from previous books both in style and format but still has an interesting tail to tell. Glad I finally had some time to get this one taken care of. Take a look! youtu.be/564y6bI9a0s

Works pretty well for any kind of Kindred hunting setup where some kind of pursuit is involved, but I lean more Gangrel with this one in general. The image that goes with the song may be to blame for that more than anything, though. 😆

Such a silly song, but it really feels like an anthem of sorts for Thin-blood Alchemy. Even better that it's a 1980s cover of an old 1960s novelty "monster" song. Makes it feel even more thin-blood adjacent thanks to that, imo. 😂

This one feels like a really good song for someone who has just been turned, dealing with the hunger and all the new sensations that go with their new existence and struggling to cope with it all. m There's a mild essence of Malkavian mixed in, too. Really catchy song overall.

I first heard this on the show Vikings, and it always stuck with me. An aching sense of need and want. Not to seek fulfillment, but to silence the screaming hunger from inside the hole in you as it endlessly demands more. Fitting for the Beast, or maybe even the obsessive hoarding of a Tzimisce.

Can't have a VtM Playlist without at least one horny Toreador Song. 🤣 Honestly, I don't actually care for this song a whole lot, but it was pretty much perfect for what it was, but that's never stopped me before. The lyrics were apparently written by Lemmy Kilmister, though, so points for that.

This one is peak Malkavian, hands down. It's also a pretty decent homage to 80s goth music, and Powerman 5000 is probably the last place I'd expect to find something like that. 😆

This song really reminds me of the V5 Humanity mechanics, in particular the stuff relating to stains and remorse. Feels very like a Kindred who's beginning ro lose touch with their Humanity, possibly having destroyed a touchstone in the process.

Here are just a few optional side quests you may uncover in Hunter: The Reckoning - Day For Night when it releases next month. - A '90s sitcom dad undergoing a demonic possession - A cursed ventriloquist dummy, desperate to never have a puppeteer's hand up its ass again - Vampires in cowboy boots

The banner image for Hunter: The Reckoning - Day For Night, which shows a vampire with '80s hair wearing a leather jacket, open to expose his abs, clutching a film reel and gesturing for the viewer to come closer.

Good song for Rhe Masquerade and the idea of vampires trying to exist among mortals. Though the chorus and a few other places do lean a bit more literal and give it some great Tzimisce vibes as well.
