Reviving this because I am still trying to get through NWN2's MotB (how's that acronym collection?). Struggling w/ shit performance and then this spirit eating mechanic.. why. who thought this was fun?

I had to be the tank because they gave me a breastplate and a spear, which never goes well. And now my second companion is a shaman? This game hates me.

Because I am too cheap to buy the NWN2:EE I am replaying the original one, but Mask of the Betrayer and damn, this is hard?? I made up a Favoured Soul / Sorcerer build because I had never seen the former class and maybe I just suck but Two spellcasters trying to fight their way out of a dungeon?? 😭

Still not a bird in sight. It's getting very hot around here. But we have free garbage for the taking?? (trash strike) Come on birds! Did hear a crow, distantly.

I'm not going to lie, I did not expect that Vampire Survivors would be one of my top played games so far 😂

Sciel and Monoco - 100% absolute badasses in this fight. I do love everyone in this party and enjoy switching it up. But Monoco being the weirdo with a foot (collecting) fetish will never not be funny to me.

I have to say, playing Mudborne (a frog breeding sim) as someone who HATES ambient frog sounds is a trip. But I loved and 100% Apico 🐝 so I will adjust 😂

Shout-out to Verso and his Berserk Slash skill for saving my terrible-at-parrying ass so many times. Probably the first time being at low health actually helps me 😭 #Expedition33

It took me two days to beat the goddamn #Expedition33 Dualliste boss (two stages!! 😡) but I feel so accomplished. Then the scene after decided to stomp on my heart. 😭

Whenever I get mad at not being able to parry well in #Expedition33 I go play Doom Dark Ages where the parry is sooo generous I feel like a stormtrooper, missing every shot but still winning somehow.

Reached the end of Act 1 in #Expedition33 and .. WHAT JUST HAPPENED??? WHAT?!

marleigh @meowmonk.bsky.social · 27/05/2025

Expedition 33 continues to kick my ass. Most enemies I can learn through trial and error but these sword nun things that stab themselves and give armor are my nemesis! 😩

Expedition 33 scratches that JRPG itch so well 😩👌 I suck at parry/block but it adds so much to the turn based combat that I love it regardless. ITS SO GOOD AAAAH 😂

I did it, I finally installed Clair Obscur: Expedition 33! I could only hold out for so long.. Making myself write a successful db query before I start though. I need to make some project progress this long weekend.

Citizen Sleeper 2 was a beautiful game - I loved the whole ending sequence and that you have a choice. (trying to be somewhat vague) My sleeper chose to be a wingperson for a very good friend. ☺️

Nearing the end of my run and therefore in my denial stage where I won't play it for a week and I can pretend its not almost over. Getting nervous how its all going to play out.. seeing as how my mission luck is absolute garbage 😅

AND A DRAGON?! is this a checklist of my favorite things or WHAT

Doom: The Dark Ages second impression: YOU GET A MECH??!? 😍😍😍

marleigh @meowmonk.bsky.social · 15/05/2025

I love the (new) DOOM games and Doom: The Dark Ages gives me something I never knew I wanted: the usual amazing Doom combat + the shield toss and smash from Dragon Age: Veilguard + the vanguard charge from Mass Effect 😂 (also I'm 100% here for the sci-fi medieval smashup!)

Imagine my delight when I met Fenris in Dragon Age 2! (I still romanced Anders tho, continuing my series of poor life decisions in Thedas)

Citizen Sleeper 2 (CS2?) is so much larger than the first! I normally hate fuel and food mechanics, but I'm dealing. It's getting easier and better, but I'll be damned if I don't bring the wrong people EVERY mission. My poor, broken Sleeper. We'll get through this, buddy. 😔

I only want these from the new set. Balthier and Fran changed me as a teenager 😂 FFXII is still my favorite Final Fantasy ❤️

To start off my new gaming fan account: Citizen Sleeper 2! If you like reading (a LOT of reading), great art, sci-fi and dice rolling, have I got the game for you! It's a fun twist on a choose your own adventure/visual novel. I've already blown up one wreck. The space station was NOT my fault.
