While walking past "A New Day" collection in Target I noticed the poster that had a strange look. Taking a closer look revealed the laugh-out-loud Googly Button stuck on the model's eye. Bless the Target employee, whoever they are. In these dark days anything to make me laugh is appreciated :-)

This is a strange time of year. Plants still wanting to bloom, while others are waiting for the frost to start their next cycle. Bell peppers are still producing. Bees desperately forage pollen to store, and a tiny cucumber's last hurrah. I prefer the Spring, but there's a lot to be said for Fall.

And I believe it. Memphis, TN had 10 days of 99-100+ degrees in late August. And here we are on 9/13 and it's 98, with next week all above 97 Degrees. This is unsustainable. But, sure, Jan, climate change is a hoax.
