the How I Met Your Mother finale - all they needed to do was (essentially) a clip show of everything they'd flash forwarded to over the years - they built to something... and then took a wrecking ball to it that left a sour taste in most fans' mouths. Never seen a show toss its own premise like that

I think she's undesirable in that movie because her character is kind of batshit crazy and the protagonist is just trying to get home after a hookup gone terribly wrong; so hooking up with anyone is not his priority. His response to June in the club is out of exhaustion and hurt but isn't sexual.

Ultimately Marvel is a for profit business and whatever makes them the most money is what they're going to do more of. one can lament the loss of artistic vision, but then, why are our expectations of these movies that they must have artistic vision?

even then, I overhead some tween boys in the theater I saw it at say "that was boring" and another online say that "it's a Punisher movie with a few Spiderman scenes thrown in (that are boring)". My sister had that Star Trek comic (she was a ST fan) and I grabbed it so that I could use it to trace the size of what a comic book should be for my homemade comics. I still have it - it's in decent condition (but the pencil I used back then may have rubbed off on the edges of the pages!) :)

if you're eating a few big meals, try eating lots of small meals instead. and protein protein protein - buy the bags of frozen skinless chicken breasts and bulk cook them and then freeze a few and leave the rest in the frig to eat one as a snack. I used to eat tuna as a 'snack' as well.

I agree.. except when Person A says "hey I really liked (fill in the blank - Captain Marvel, Supergirl, Rise of Skywalker, Dr Who's Disney season and so forth) - and Persons B,C,D - Z scream bloody hell at them for the audacity. then it becomes- a problem, in my opinion, to be on this site.

Yeah, I find myself saying that about a lot of things that 'we're' supposed to hate (pop culture-wise). But I've been so hen-pecked about some of those things here in BS that Ive largely stopped engaging. Who needs to feel like they have to defend something to the death?
