if you cannot compartmentalize yourself online, then you cannot blame others for being upset when the drama you involved yourself, floats downstream and hurts others. If you enable bad behavior that endangers others, you are allowing trouble to spread to other communities

it may not seem fair, but you have to look at it from other peoples perspective and not just your own. If you involve yourself with communities that enable bad behavior and publically meltdown when they inevitably implode, you are bringing those vibes with you to other unrelated spaces

not to mention moving in circles that enable harmful interpersonal behavior. It creates a vortex of hurt feelings, angst, accusations, and bad behavior that drags nearby people in without care. Thats why i personally avoid such negative communities for my own mental health

there are some people who i find to be nice people, but i simply can not be around them for extended periods of time because they are constantly engaging in self destructive behavior or hanging around in circles that seemed mired in angst and interpersonal drama.
