Is it possible for a character to lie by omission for half the book and still be liked at the end? He's lying because he's afraid of losing his best friend and ashamed of the awful thing he did. By the end- he has to take accountability but I don't like that he lies. It's hard. #momswritersclub

7%of communication is words. The rest is nonverbal body language, tone, and the like. I feel similarly for books- 7% is actually the plot. You can have the most brilliant plot in the world, but if I don't care about the characters or if I don't like the voice/tone, it's meaningless. #momswritersclub

Fun fact: I'm trying out this 'Plotting' thing. Turns out the parts I struggle the most to write are proving equally challenging to plot. (~35 K- midpoint and then the space between the midpoint and climax. So much needs to happen in so few words.)
