Photo of Mel’s table and a Razer Blackshark V2 headset with a lavalier microphone clipped onto the arm of the existing headset microphone that is unused. Cable runs along the mic arm towards the headset cables and tied using wire cable ties.

Seems like according to the Spanish Wikipedia entry for the Shinkansen, it used masculine. But I’ve only seen one instance of it from my rough reading.

This is the one point where I thought I saved up enough of my own pocket to afford a game at launch… The industry change by “some certain red and orange company” had me underestimating. This is the last time I’d pre-order a game. Your mentally deranged girl is now actually broke. And I’m sorry…

In removing the ability to animate positioning, you'd also be removing the freedom of expression through animating texts anywhere on the screen. Below shows a text moving from point a to point b (watch the actual vid to see it for yourself) Example: Tokyo Manaka - Doomer feat. Kasane Teto

In the same video, you'd also be getting rid of what's known as the Ruby Texts. Or known in the Japanese and adjacent spaces as "Furigana spellings".

By removing karaoke styling in subtitles, you'd make watching music videos a worse experience, and making pacing lyrics (if reverted to srt and other traditional formats) far worse for hard working subtitlers. Example: Houshou Marine - A Horny Money World

By removing the ability to set position to the subtitle, you'd get texts IN THE WAY OF EXISTING BURNED IN TEXTS. This is a major problem with Android users where font sizes are overridden by the Android system and has an opaque background by default. Example: Tripl3, a Hololive clipper and animator

A video screenshot demonstrating how the soft coded subtitles can get in the way of hard burned subtitles.

By removing the ability to color code subtitles, you can't efficiently denote who's talking without adding a "NAME:" to EVERY LINE. Example shown: Minecraft Manhunt by Dream
