23. Ducks: Two Years in the Oil Sands Powerful read, I don’t know how to articulate my feelings other than I felt very affected by it. Would recommend but my god it gets stressful

22. Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna - The Golden Country Wooof. Great example of knowing how it ends but that doesn’t make it hurt any less. I don’t know what else I can add other than it was just some flavor for a game that was already great

21. Long Story Short this is a hard watch. not because it's bad--far from it--but the dysfunction was too relatable. i love bojack and both have that dark humor and earnestness that work we do kinda "put up" with family in many ways and it feels like it shouldn't make sense, but we do it anyway

20. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 hell yes, now this is a good game. characters good, music amazing, gameplay fun, and it does look crazy good with the s2 update. i think i may be preaching to the choir. if this one is so good i can't imagine how good 3 will be. i can't wait until december torna is next!

19. Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender let's get it out of the way: the visuals and music is absolutely gorgeous. it truly was meant for an experience in the theater and it is disappointing that the project got shafted as hard as it did. now that i've said that: the plot is. fine.

18. Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe i never played the original wii version and it's been YEARS since i last played. i am incredibly rusty which isn't saying much because i am HORRIBLE at platformers. but i did what i came to do, slay the evil. yes i will play the magolor epilogue.

17. Kirby and the Forgotten Land - Star-Crossed World i beat forgotten land when it first came out and hadn't touched it since. (i am not a sicko who can 100% but i did save all the waddle dees) i was due to try the switch 2 version and it looks good. star-crossed is just more of the same good shit

16. Pikuniku the trailer for the second game was super tempting and it was on sale on the eshop! what a funny little game. quick for the story, and if you like silly physics-based platformers it's worth your time. the art style is very good

15. Resident Evil: Outbreak (multiplayer with friends) I can't imagine playing this with bots lmao took a lot of time to figure out how to play (i have virtually never played a game with tank controls) but multiplayer is pretty dang fun. story has some interesting bits looking at it after 22 years

14. Scrubs S10 10 seasons? i didn't know they had a ninth season! jokes aside, we were lucky to see an advance screening of the finale at paleyfest. i don't think i needed a revival but i still enjoyed it. the finale felt a little rushed but i get it, we didn't know if there'd be another

10. Fantastic Four: First Steps (2025) actually really predictable, not surprising for a disney-marvel operation but not inherently bad. i didn't hate it but i definitely didn't love it either. overall fine but i'm going to forget about it in a few months if not a few weeks.

9. The Legend of Korra S4 and that's the end. was a little rough around the edges but as fine an ending as it could have been. short hair korra really the best version. ultimately i enjoyed the series as a whole

6. Transformers: The Movie (1986) the most 80s experience i'll have in a long time. they killed my pathetic man and i would have walked out if i could but seriously i don't think i won't ever hate old school transformers. grimlock our goat

5. Sinners (2025) looks fantastic, well acted, cinematography great. i'm a sucker for oners. the story isn't all amazing (i have some very minor gripes) but i was thoroughly entertained. isn't it all that matters?

1. The Legend of Korra S1 (rewatch) and S2 First season was a solid one, I’ve always had minor gripes but I can’t say I ever disliked it. Introduction to one of my first waifus (Asami) I completely skipped s2 because I heard Opinions and I agree with most of them.
