i like to pull up the OpenAI completions playground to explain how ChatGPT generates its responses, but it's getting removed in 2 days... 🙈 LLMs are largely autocomplete models trained to guess what word (token) comes next in a sequence. this is a great visualizer of that:

something i loved about taiwan is that there’s centrally located public dance spaces, often inside metro station concourses! (i say this as many bay area meetups are like at the edge of town by a salt pond or up the hill because neighbors or security have pushed them out of town...)
