iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Melodifestivalen @melodifestivalen.se · 18/03/2026

We got Martin Green speaking English, and that goes for the Icelandic executive. So we got some. But no catch up :-/

Melodifestivalen @melodifestivalen.se · 18/03/2026

You may not understand Swedish, but if you did, you could watch on SVT Play today at 19:00 CET. Withdrawals, Israel, Martin Green, and an Icelandic television executive. #mello #melfest #esc

Felicia and Brandsta City Släckers are moving on from Heat 2. Will either of them be the act Sweden sends to Vienna? #melfest #mello #esc

Greczula and A-teens. What do you reckon?

Melodifestivalen @melodifestivalen.se · 26/01/2026

We will change this in upcoming versions.

Yes. That is a tricky one and an example of UX with potential for improvement. Try creating an account with Google or Apple instead, where there is no validation requirement. Sorry.

In the app? Not this year. Might be something in the future.

Melodifestivalen @melodifestivalen.se · 23/01/2026

We would love to have them on board when they eventually return to ESC!

No surprises there – you knew this was coming. This year’s entries from Dansk Melodi Grand Prix are now available in the Mello app. The musical Kalmar Union is finally complete. BFF. 🇩🇰🇸🇪🇳🇴🇫🇮 #mello #melfest #esc #dmgp #umk #mgp

Yes. Everything we do has a two-year-delay-effect.

The Mello app seems to have gone full Nordic mode. Alongside Mello and Eurovision, you can now explore the artists competing in both UMK and Norway’s MGP -all in the same place. We’re not saying this is getting out of hand… but we’re definitely not stopping either. #melfest #esc #mgp

We’re taking small steps at a time. A fully translated app, including the feed, will be next. Unfortunately not this spring, but later this year.

Melodifestivalen @melodifestivalen.se · 14/01/2026

We still have to figure that out

010

Melodifestivalen @melodifestivalen.se · 14/01/2026

Here are the artists competing in this year’s UMK. You can read more about them in the Mello app… Wait, WHAT?
Yes, you read that right. The Mello app is no longer just about Mello and Eurovision -now you can also dive into the entries competing in UMK.
Where will this end? #mello #melfest #umk26

There may be some (minor) geographical restrictions. Which country are you in?
And just to be clear: anyone can download the app, but to vote you need to be in Sweden.

Not into the new songs? Out today: the new version of the Mello app! Every show since 2015, with songs, artists, photos and video. And of course, the app is now in English. Download it now! (If you’re on iPhone — Android users can do something else for the moment and try it tonight.) #melfest #esc

Nothing says late autumn quite like the posters in the Stockholm underground and the tabloids filled with speculation about this year’s entries. Are you starting to catch a bit of Mello fever too? #melfest #melodifestivalen #esc

…and that will encourage artists to contribute with more songs in Swedish. More streaming will be a far better incentive than a strict rule book.

Melodifestivalen @melodifestivalen.se · 06/06/2025

We would love to have more songs in Swedish, but we will not make it mandatory. In the end, good songs will always win.
