All the local vets sold out to corps so they are all on the same $$$ plan now. I had a kitten spayed this year & she ‘needed’ pre surgery testing etc to the tune of $650 by the time the surgery was done. It was like sub $200 before. (I USED to pay for strays to be done when they came to my yard.)

Vet care has gotten crazy expensive since 2020. A routine visit for my cats used to cost less than $125-150 and now I can’t get out of there, EVER, for less than $300-350. Same exact care! (Rural-ish CT, not the suburbs etc.)

Take the train to Providence - the IMAX theater is legit right across the street from the train station inside Providence Mall. Tickets usually for every show during the week but not in the ‘good’ seats. It’s a good day trip. :)
