A dark green moodboard of crumbling houses in a forest with the following overlaid text:

Report on Existence vs Non-Existence of the Afterlife

PROBLEM
1. Does Hell exist?
2. If Hell exists, is it a forest?

BACKGROUND
1. Given that the experimenter had been headed for a public or semi-public execution;
2. Observing that they could currently hear leaves rustling and feel cold water filling their patent leather oxfords to the socked toes;
3. Given that they had never believed in much of any religion, or any kind of sensation after death, much less water;
4. It is not unreasonable to assume that this may be Hell.

#SFF #H #A #LGBT The day after their executions, six young murderers wake up in a forest bleeding magic. Can they find escape or absolution before the ravaged land swallows them whole? #WIPPIT

A dark green moodboard with images of crumbling houses in a forest landscape. Snippets of paper overlaid on it read "post-apocalyptic," "survival horror," "ecofiction," "Queer and Trans MCs," "Multiple POVs," "never-before-seen genders," "ergodic literature," "LORD OF THE FLIES x AS I LAY DYING x IDLEWILD"
