2-1 after day 1 of my first 40k event since 5th ed R1 was only my second game of 11th and it showed starting to get my bearings and comfortable playing, which was the goal of the weekend! any wins are a bonus

great weekend once again at UK Games Expo running Shatterpoint as part of the AMG GT team 😁 32 players despite the recent news was awesome. Managed to find time this year to actually pick up some goodies too and also play some Gundam Assemble for the first time - really promising game!

I appreciate the Defenestrator explaining to us how we are in fact incorrectly valuing Supergiant, the most questionably concepted, janky, unusable design in all of MCP. In fact, this reply reads like reading the Supergiant stat card - a whole lot of longwinded nothing

Had fun at my first Riftbound prerelease today, some good opens had Irelia core but chose to build around my Sivir legend instead and went 3-0! Highlight was Fiora picking up a triforce and split pushing her way to victory in the last one xD

loving this pop up when visiting longshanks this morning

Longshanks.org home page notice

“We want to be extremely clear: what is happening in Minneapolis and other cities in the United States is unacceptable.

We gamers, geeks, and nerds like to lose ourselves in fantasies of resistance to oppression and it is our duty to speak out against oppression when it happens in the real world. So many of the games we all love to play are based on stories of resisting exactly the kind of tyranny that is being espoused by the United States government right now. How would Captain America feel about what is happening? What about Luke, Leia, and Han?

On a personal note, the administrator of Longshanks was born and raised in Minnesota and is exceedingly proud of how his home state is responding to the recent atrocious events.

If you want to help or are in Minnesota and are in need of assistance, here are some resources. Please consider helping in whatever way you are able.”

casual event today so I’m playing a terrible Sentinels list to see how fun the new changes are. Stip is you have to play a Web Warrior and a Spider-Foe and play one or the other based on priority. Two unknown items are the new Lockdown/Jailbreak crisis revealed the other week for maximum theme

Was very tired to post yesterday after a 6 day work week, but a nice fun 4-0 with Guardians in the runup to WTC. Played Bill in all four and Agent Venom/King T’Challa in three. Every matchup had stagger bots so Nova did not hit the table once sadly!

fun day playing a Street level (no 5+ threat) MCP event with the fixed War of Kings crises and lots of wacky One-Shot terrain effects. Kraven had fun driving a race car around! Ended up 3-1 for a bunch of loot losing a very close one to First Avenger Steve
