Mellie @mellieknits.bsky.social · 02/06/2026I can’t believe that it’s already June 1st 😩 My goal between now and June 21, is to finish this WIP that has been on the needles for months 🧣 Also a goal: to read more from my TBR pile. #knittersofbluesky #knitsky #knitting🧶 #books 💙📚 # 0121 0

Mellie @mellieknits.bsky.social · 02/02/2026Well, January Januaried. Here’s hoping for a better February all around! I saw that grays was the prompt for #showmeyourknits so here is a gray version of The Autumnity Shawl by Vincent Williams. #knittersofbluesky #knitsky #knitting🧶 0360 0
Mellie @mellieknits.bsky.social · 02/01/2026Happy New Year All! Started the New Year with some reading and making knitting plans. #knittersofbluesky #knitsky #knitting🧶 #books 💙📚 #booksky 0140 0
Mellie @mellieknits.bsky.social · 24/11/2025A little bit of brightness on such a gray day ☀️ After weeks of working on it, the blanket is finally done! Just in time for the colder weather. #knittersofbluesky #knitsky #knitting🧶 1240 0

Mellie @mellieknits.bsky.social · 01/11/2025Happy Halloween Witches! 🎃🧙♀️👻 It’s a tad early for Midnight Margaritas but I have to say that my absolute favourite scene in the movie is when all the women show up, link hands, and blast Jimmy out. We should all have such a phone tree. ❤️ #knittersofbluesky #knitsky #knitting🧶 #practicalmagic 1260 0
Mellie @mellieknits.bsky.social · 29/10/2025Spent an absolutely lovely day trekking about on Mount-Royal yesterday. Need more of these Autumn days 🍂🍁 #montreal #autumn 010 0
Mellie @mellieknits.bsky.social · 28/10/2025I cannot believe that this is the last week of October 😭 Still toiling away on the blanket but I did start a more portable project. Also, looking forward to rereading this book before seeing the movie. #knittersofbluesky #knitsky #knitting🧶 #books 💙📚 #booksky 1190 0
Mellie @mellieknits.bsky.social · 02/10/2025Hello October! 🎃👻🧙♀️ Still working on the blanket. However, I do have a “want to knit” list full of projects I cannot wait to get to. #knittersofbluesky #knitsky #knitting🧶 #books 💙📚 #booksky 0110 0
Mellie @mellieknits.bsky.social · 27/08/2025Feeling like Charlie Brown’s Linus by dragging my blanket around in case I get a few minutes to knit. Also, new commute book since I can’t knit during rush hour (too many people.) #knittersofbluesky #knitsky #knitting🧶 #books 💙📚 #booksky 0181 0
Mellie @mellieknits.bsky.social · 24/08/2025A quiet Saturday Night over here. Knitting and rewatching Supernatural. #knittersofbluesky #knitsky #knitting🧶 #cats #catsofbluesky #caturday 2281 0
Mellie @mellieknits.bsky.social · 21/08/2025Made another swatch. I’ve decided that since I haven’t knitted in a while, I now want to make a throw. Because of course I do. As much as love the stitches on the first swatch, it takes up a lot of yarn. This pattern also has points for being reversible. #knittersofbluesky #knitsky #knitting🧶 1260 0
Mellie @mellieknits.bsky.social · 14/08/2025Knit up a small swatch after weeks of not knitting - or doing much of anything really. A small thing but it brought me a bit of joy. #knittersofbluesky #knitsky #knitting🧶 6542 0
Mellie @mellieknits.bsky.social · 12/08/2025Longing for all things Autumn in this heatwave. I never feel quite “right” in the summer and struggle a lot. But, as I was getting ready to go to work this morning, yarn and book caught my attention. Autumn hues. Cheered me up a bit. #knittersofbluesky #knitsky #knitting🧶 #books 💙📚 #booksky 5340 0

Mellie @mellieknits.bsky.social · 01/07/2025Finally finished this linen stitch shawlette - just in time for the hot weather 😭 Just need to block and weave the ends in. In better news: I get to reclaim my needles and move on to another project. 🎉 Pattern: Grotine by cdickdesigns #knittersofbluesky #knitsky #knitting🧶 0240 0

Mellie @mellieknits.bsky.social · 27/06/2025Life has been life-ing very much lately, but I did see that yellow was the #showmeyourknits prompt for this week. I love shawls. Generally easy to knit with an added bonus of keeping me warm in a sub-zero temperature office. Pattern: Wolfsbane by Tyne Swedish #knittersofbluesky #knitsky #knitting🧶 1320 0

Mellie @mellieknits.bsky.social · 08/04/2025I am a tad embarrassed about the number of WIPs I current have. Here’s one of them: a self-drafted shawlette to be (if it works out.) Yarn is Malabrigo lace. #knittersofbluesky #showmeyourknits #knitsky #knitting🧶 1180 0

Mellie @mellieknits.bsky.social · 02/04/2025I don’t generally knit for babies but when I do, it’s a huge blanket. This last one was done a couple of years ago for my nephew. A modified version of the Harvest Throw by Alexandra Tavel. #knittersofbluesky #showmeyourknits #knitsky #knitting🧶 0160 0
Mellie @mellieknits.bsky.social · 02/04/2025I read and listened to quite a few good books in March. Favourites were The Hobbit and The Fellowship of the Ring - both read by Andy Serkis who played Gollum in the movies. Highly recommended. #books 💙📚 #booksky #audiobooks 050 0

Mellie @mellieknits.bsky.social · 25/02/2025I have a few lace projects for #showmeyourknits - more than I thought I had - but here is a favourite: a lace Hitchhiker shawlette. I had splurged on a skein of Handmaiden Yarn and wanted to use all of it while having a large enough shawlette. #knittersofbluesky #knitsky #knitting🧶 2410 0
Mellie @mellieknits.bsky.social · 20/02/2025I had a bout of insomnia last night and my mind drifted to yarn. It occurred to me that I had bought some yarn specifically for a hat. I even bought a pompom. So… a new cast on is imminent. Thinking something with cables or slouchy. #knittersofbluesky #knitsky #knitting🧶 1200 0
