There’s nothing better than a swim except a swim that helps the environment. This is an image of a young girl and her trusty dog sidekick saving a bright orange fish from plastic being wrapped around it.

Before the winter began I took this photo of an adorable bug that looks like a little pea in a pod or a leaf. He’s smaller than my thumbnail. Too cute #Uplift

Tiny Leaf Bug

A bug that looks like a leaf. These unique bugs don’t all look alike, but they do have one thing in common: This katydid is even called the “false leaf” bush cricket!

This image is one that I've been working on for a book about mythical creatures. This is a water nymph. I created her laying in the water on her back because I learned how to swim as an adult :) I was nervous to learn but when I was on my back I could float along the water feeling totally relaxed.

This unicorn created by Melizza Santram-Chernov is a representation of one of her possible spirit animals (hahaha). Like so many others I am paradoxical. In this case I'm both ethereal and grumpy at any given time.

Art by Melizza Santram-Chernov

While visiting Martha’s Vineyard and walking the beach I envisioned a kraken far off the shore. The kraken is a legendary sea monster of enormous size, a colossal octopus known for attacking ships. I’d like to think that this kraken is simply playing with the ship and will eventually place it back in the water, no harm done :)
