It’s a miracle: I finished a knitting project! I started the simple scarf August 2024 for my 1st trip to Europe, (culinary tour of Tuscany). Didn’t finish the scarf on time, but it was unusually warm and sunny while we were there, so I probably couldn’t have worn it anyway.🧶💙

The most fun vendor at #scfm (IMHO) was Camp Stitchwood, purveyor of ‘Purl Scouts’ pin badges and knitting- and crocheting-related stickers. I wanted to buy one of everything. #campstitchwood 🧶💙

The result of the wool dyeing class I took 6/14/25: fingering weight Rambouillet sprinkle dyed with turquoise and cantaloupe powder dye. I wanted the undyed natural color to show. I’m calling it ‘Goldfish in a Bowl.’ 🧶💙

I cast on 131 stitches the other day to start Purl SoHo’s pretty Blossoming wrap. It’s a big project, but I couldn’t resist the flowers and leaves motif!

I didn’t expect my mundane drive into town to be beautiful, but it was! The iced trees and roadside grasses were silver and white and glittered in the sunshine. Took a quick photo of some trees on the post office’s property.

The new spruce tree I’m knitting is not a color that occurs in nature! Yarn is Bernal’s big squishy something or the other. It cost less than $5! Once I make a couple of trees, I might make my cats a Valentine blanket. ❤️🧶

These are the Christmas trees I knit in Dec 2024. Knit Evergreen Trees pattern by Stacy of FitFoodArt Shop. Yarn is Lion Brand Wool Ease. I had strands of tiny white lights wrapped around them for the holidays. They added some Christmas cheer to our bedroom.
