Throwing this in the thread but I found that the SMT IV Apocalypse track "Godslayer" was also translated as "Deicide", which IMO I prefer lol. Seems like the original track name was 神殺し

I miss the days of someone wanting to make a lofty project that you would either hear nothing from before a full release 15 years later, or it would quickly come out that it was just some ideas guy and nobody was actually doing anything lol. Now people wanna be some god for using Claude.

Melissa! 🔜 Eclipse/HOLIDAY HAVOC @melissa.guiltygear.gay · 13/10/2026

For god sakes, people used to be paranoid about compiler chain attacks!! Now people are just letting software write more software in its entirety without reviewing the source at all.

010

Melissa! 🔜 Eclipse/HOLIDAY HAVOC @melissa.guiltygear.gay · 13/10/2026

A large concern with just the usage of the software is often how it's not being really designed or architected in any coherent way. Also, most of the people suddenly pushing out "open source" software like this don't plan on maintaining it at all in any sense of the word long term.

It has an extremely strong first couple of episodes compared to the original Gundam, I think I really like Kamille so far. I've been watching it with my girlfriend, we've seen about 20 episodes. I'll let you know what I think once we're done! We also just finished the new Ghost in The Shell.

Watching Zeta Gundam... I feel like half of these conflicts wouldn't be happening if they didn't keep using child soldiers but hey, I'm not an expert lol I also notice that they keep introducing women that get killed like immediately, what's up with that

IIDX does a pretty good job. But also it's just easier to read chords that way. When you learn to abstract away how you move your hands it feels easier

Big news for F-Zero GX (credit to bstest4he on twitter): we have found cheat codes to unlock everything in the game, including the elusive gold parts that were previously JP-arcade event locked! Though there are a couple of caveats.

The cheat codes, entered at Customize -> F-Zero Shop, all directions must be performed using the Dpad:

All AX Courses Unlocked: X Y < > Z Z > < Y X Z Z Y Y > > >
Dark Schneider Unlocked: Z Z Z X X X X Y Y < < > > > Y Y
All AX Machines Unlocked: X X < > Y Z Z Y < > X < > Z X > < Y Y

Gold Parts (must be performed with 4 controllers simultaneously):
Thunderstorm parts: X Z Y Z X Z Y X
El Dorado parts: X > X Z Y < < Z
Chrono Symphony parts: < > Z > < X > Z
Bahamut parts: Y Y Z > < Z X Y
Gladiator parts: > Z X < < > Z X

The gold machine parts, previously unavailable outside of participating in JP-exclusive AX events or by hacking

Ideally I do White->Law->Chaos->Neutral endings. White since it's the fastest first, Neutral last so I can actually use all of that built up comprehension for something lol.

110

Melissa! 🔜 Eclipse/HOLIDAY HAVOC @melissa.guiltygear.gay · 09/10/2026

My goal is to basically try and play the game getting all endings, with Reincarnation NG+. I'm hoping that each time I replay the game, my comprehension will be a little better. Ideally I spend my first playthrough learning what I need to study, then pick up more and more.

I put Griffon in my party and I really like how for the most part, it uses entirely Katakana with only really Kanji for stuff like 爪, and anything that normally *would* be in Katakana ends up being written in Hiragana, like すきる lol

Oh neat, they also have different skills/stats. ゾンビ has Gram Cut with more HP and STR, and ゾンミ has Life Drain with more SP (and also generally higher stats, being Level 5).

More bosses today. Got through the Nagas, and the Wendigo Horde. Took me an embarassingly long time to figure out what フード meant lmfao... Anyways, I noticed that the Samurai Zombies have their names gendered unlike in English. Male Zombies are ゾンビ, Female Zombies are ゾンミ. Neat.
