I have no IOT devices, and my PC is on Linux. And yet the only device I have that I don't fully control (my phone) served an ad for the mould wizard in the system update notes. I don't want ads in my system update, and that goes double for terf shit.

The pixel update for September 2026 It lists what's new such as scam message detection and then Harry Potter audiobooks, widgets and settings for you to download and one click turn it into an ad.

The cats are mad at me and really, really want to go outside. Bella keeps staring at me from odd places, while Renfield is determined that if he stares hard enough at the front door it will open on it's own.

Sometimes I wonder if I want to play a game, then I browse the Steam store page and see things like this... Sufficed to say I've been playing it a ton just like we had to run it on the family PC in the late 1900's.

I loved Sam Neil since I saw Event Horizon as a young adult... One of the first I could pick out by name rather than face. He had many great roles, but none more surprising to me than when he appeared as the accused on an Australian comedy drama called Rake.

I decided to sell the steam cards I'd left unused in my account for 15 years. This isn't even the full inventory as there are 290 more listed in the marketplace that haven't sold yet. Plus some non-marketable ones that I need to turn into more sellable cards.

Do social housing tenants know their right to repair for certain problems? Because I've found that not even the landlords know what they say they do and what their staff actually provide.

Need cat food, ordered for delivery. Evri is the "delivery" company. Fails to deliver, check with company and Oh wow, they lost the package I'm shocked. CS immediately offers DPD rather than Evri for a re-attempt... why do companies still insist on Evri?
