First project of 2026 completed! This is a personal project. This year I want to focus on being authentic in everything I do and I wanted to draw something I can look at every day to inspire myself.

I read MANY books in 2025. I love books. Most of it was manga. Like 20 actual novels. Which is still a shit ton of novels. It was a good year. Not expecting to read as much this year, but hoping to hit 100.

Goodreads books in review thing for 2025. I read 140 books totaling 31,471 pages. Most of what I read is manga and graphic novels, but there were a good number of full novels as well. Books are great. I also branched out to read some genres I don’t normally read. Which was neat.

My ex-husband was upset when we were hiking with our 2 two young kids, (3 and 6), and I was fucking PREGNANT and he didn’t like how slow I was hiking. I learned to HATE hiking with that man. And I realized that I’ve always been a slow hiker. I’m learning to enjoy hiking again. With the right people.

The last few days I’ve been working on crocheting myself a Santa hat. I wanted a nice one so I figured I’d make one. Huzzah! Merry Christmas! Happy yule! And Happy holidays!

Today I experimented and after a few times starting over I managed to crochet a Pokéball with a tennis ball inside. 🎉🎉🎉

I was crocheting a Pokéball with a tennis ball inside. It is about 3/5 of the way done here. Testing to see if the tennis ball fit right.

The crochet around the tennis ball! It turned out so lovely! A Pokéball crocheted around a tennis ball. Glorious.

After adding the button for the Pokéball. It fits so nicely in my palm and is also quite bouncy.
