[1/2] Finished #BatEater by Kylie Lee Baker, and, holy crap, what a ride. Absolutely not what I expected after reading Japanese Gothic. This book tackles serious matters using the vehicle of a ghost story, all the while tingeing the narrative with a levity bordering on the humorous.

Finally gotten around to watch #Longlegs yesterday, and while I can see how some people might feel Nic Cage's acting "ruined" the mood for them, for me his over-the-top style was spot on for the role. Also absolute kudos to Maika Monroe and the rest of tha cast. What a wonderfully weird ride.
