an older female knight is resting against a huge willow tree in a swamp.
Her armor is bit weathered, covered with moss and rust.

Acrylic Gouache+gouache painting of the main female cast of Final Fantasy VI along with Mog
they're all floating to a black background with details of flower petals, white dots and opal-colored sprayed dots.

On top is Terra, a pretty young lady with green wavy hair, wearing her red dress with flower patterns, pink pastel stockings with flower patterns, pastel purple cloak and red boots with golden decals. She is sitting comfortably, and Mog is next to her.

Celes is sitting on the right side, wearing her Amano inspired outfit with a purple tank-top, yellow west and trousers and white boots with decals on it. She has long blonde hair, and wearing a fancy hair ornament.

To her right and in-front of Terra is Relm, a child with blond curly hair and a big smile. She is wearing a big red beret with pattern, a yellow cloak connected to her necklace, a black tank-top, red puffy trousers with star pattern and red boots. She is holding a big painting brush with her left hand.

a mock-up book cover for a story called "the Black Knight and the last rose"

In the middle is a black knight with rose and thorns decorations around their armor and helm. They're wearing a wavy and old cloak, holding a big rapier with their right hand. Their right hand is mystic/magical with a eerie white/blue glow, holding a white rose in their palm.

people will say "did you know the creator of ... has a weird fetish" as if anything other than a weird fetish could possibly compel you to suffer through the creative process

I found two volumes of vassalord in some old boxes and this shit is crazy. I miss this sort of stuff that doesn't take itself too seriously

Wasn't here a lot more of yaoi coded anime barely disguised as shonen before? Thinking about stuff like Saiyuki, Peacemaker kurogane, Get Backers....

Something AI is responsible for that doesn't get enough talk: How, when it scrapes a website to illegally steal everything on it, it uses up a ton of its bandwidth allotment, crashing it or racking up massive fees for site owners.

The bill has been opened to feedback. Rather than dooming about the proposal, you can tell them exactly how you feel about the act here. ec.europa.eu/info/law/bet... With how much of an uphill battle Chat Control is having, you should never assume it's worthless to fight these draconian bills.

thought about this guy from dkc2 for some reason

Various sketchy paintings of Klampon from Donkey Kong Country 2, a little blue crocodile guy with a huge mouth and big sharp teeth. Yelling AUGH in one sketch. Against a volcano backdrop in another.

After seeing some fellow cartoonists chatting about the fediverse/Mastodon this morning, I was finally motivated to revive an old draft of mine! Added some newer data into it as well. ⭐ The Fediverse for Cartoonists (or: Slow Posting for Freaks) ⭐ blog.itsnero.com/the-fedivers...

B&w image of a blob person looking down at their comic page, spotting the Mastodon mascot (a mastodon) waving at them.

What a weird decision to not make them (and the UI?) pixel art too, a bit jarring to look at

Hall of Echoes - for Magic: The Gathering's Reality Fracture This painting took me quite some time to wrap my head around. The description my art director Sarah Wassell sent me was very abstract and hard to visualize, but I'm very happy with how this turned out in the end.

A floating orb of iridescent liquid metal surrounds a star - the edges of the orb turn into hands reaching for the star. In the background we see floating towers
