A study of #Clark #Backrooms My recent #fanart of Seo-Yeon from #GroundZero has painfully reminded me of how complicated a human face is. Given the amount of small details, linework should be avoided (mess); instead, the features should be presented through delicate gradients of light and shadow.

Dr. Derek Manse reporting, GATE Cascade Research Facility. Figuring out the inscribed sphere has proven to be more complicated than initially anticipated. Despite many attempts, the shape always appears too small for a cube that size. It remains to be seen, whether the vanishing point is to blame.

In art, it is said, anything can be depicted through the use of only three basic shapes: 1️⃣a cube; 2️⃣a cylinder; 3️⃣a cone. I am working on an SCP-AF poster and studying the Order Triarii for that purpose. Gas masks are always a challenge for someone without a formal artistic education due to the flow of perspective along the small details. That's why we tend to go into simplified stylisations. #abioticfactor #art #ua
