Also, try to mix up your comment introductions. Repetitively saying things like, "Haha" and "That's fair" across multiple responses makes it sound like I'm talking to an Ai. An array statement could do better. The English language demands the use of synonyms, variety and slang to stay interesting.

I'm so used to seeing #Harmony 's design in soft colors, the tremendous saturation of her first print is throwing me off.😂 (Colors looking much softer on-screen has to do with working a CMYK design on an RGB display; also, inkjet prints will always come out brighter than laser & pigment) #Splatoon

Exactly. It's rough, man. I've long accepted that social media isn't worth much. But selling art at conventions - that's the way to go. I get to travel, meet people irl, build a real community - not these fake followers online - and, whelp, make money. (>¬<) It's expensive to start, but worth. (^ ^)

Agreed. It really is just not worth it. I'll accidentally find myself on Insta and see artists make posts like, "10 Ways to be a Successful Artist on Instagram!" And instantly face-palm. Cus it's such a waste of time. I strongly believe that true art success is going out and making connections irl.😊

And what I find really sad about all this, is the time investment. I'll go to a concert, and everyone will have their phones up and recording. To post that next vlog. About something they really weren't even mentally present for. Then all the time they spend auto-editing it, afterwards. Live life.

This is what I struggle with, the most. The creativity and passion has been sucked out of everyone. Quality content hardly exists anymore. People are so obsessed with, "Getting the next thing out, asap! Post weekly! Daily!" I feel like the internet is so overloaded with lazy, trash content, now.

Dude, same. My website is mostly for show apps, and I know people don't see creative, indi sites the way that they used to, 20 years ago. So I just expect it. It's so sad. My QRCode goes to my LinkTree, and my website's at the top. I try to promote my Bluesky & Discord server. But insta still wins.
