Me? Oh nothing much... Just building a tool that uses my local LLM to read the OCR data on screenshots I've taken over the years of all the hate I've got online, now sat in my Immich library, and then locking those images so I don't unintentionally encounter them while perusing photo's of my kids.

The values I try to live by when it comes to AI are as follows: - no GenAI replacing artists/musicians/creative writing etc. it’s plagiarism. - no use of OpenAI, Grok, Gemini, or any models from companies that clearly don’t share my values - reduced reliance on energy/water hungry models

Currently Meta smart glasses are just bulky enough to be recognizable as smart glasses. But soon they’ll have miniaturized the electronics enough that we won’t be able to tell. Anyone wearing glasses could be part of the surveillance state. And soon after that anyone who is not naked.

Another friend fooled by an AI video, reposting it unaware. She couldn't tell. It was quite convincing but also very obvious that it was AI, to me at least. AI has a certain smell. Soon I won't be able to tell either. None of us will be able to. I don't plan to be on the internet anymore then.
