Happy #Live2Dday everybody!! ❤️‍🔥 I'm Rya and I love rigging expressive faces, subtle interconnected physics and tiny details! I'd really love to get more into illustration animation this coming year, I'd love to work on some more male models or posed models as well! #RyaRigs

Animation tips 💡 Sharing again on what I've learned from my Animation Course and how I applied it to #Live2D ! You can use ''Squash and Stretch'' in your rigging, physics, and animations. Here's an example of how I applied it to a cloud during transformation~

reposting on bluesky, easy face corners tech (part 1, the rest is in the replies) #Live2D I'm not the best at rigging while being recorded so the example still turned out a bit wonky at the end (but thats simple to fix afterwards), and YES at the time I wasn't aware live2d already had guide lines 😭

Ok this tool is super great for reformatting videos to fit for bsky!!! If anyone (LOOKING AT MY RIGGING MOOTS) is struggling with the 50MB file size limit check this out! The 60 second limit is still a little bit oof but hey, so long as I can actually upload my stuff I'll take it! handbrake.fr

Now that Twitter is banned in Brazil, I figured I would make a quick guide on how to get started on Bluesky! Bsky is all about CHOOSING the algorithm you want to use, which are called Feeds. There are Feeds for EVERYTHING. Search for ones you like in the Feeds tab, pin them to your page, and voila!

Click on the Feeds tab and then scroll down until you find DISCOVER NEW FEEDS. Search a special interest or scroll down through the list to find interesting feeds

Once a feed is pinned it will be accessible by simply clicking over to the tab at the top or swiping on mobile.

I came across an outdated guide on image grid sizing crop/proportions for bsky earlier, and I felt it was important to create an updated version! Please use this new guide instead!

Up-to-date BlueSky Crop Aspect Ratio
Crop Sizes for Bluesky as of 18 Oct 2024

By default, single images are uncropped. If image is too tall (Exceeds the 1:2 aspect ratio) then it will be cropped. Single images that are too tall may be scaled down but aspect ratio is preserved

With two images, both of them share a square aspect ratio of 1:1

For three images, the first image is square (1:1) while the other two are half-squares (2:1)

And for 4 images, all of them are 3:2
