Did I fuck up my sleep schedule to make my fastfetch setup? Yes. Was it worth it? Yes! So proud of the lil' Flutter/Dart/Jaspr lines which actually pull the tool versions <3

Finally switched to a dual-boot setup on my Laptop yesterday. I tried Pop_OS! by default since it's what everyone talks about recently, but if you got suggestions it's still early enough that I can switch it up! (Spent hours getting Windows to allow me to shrink it smh.)

I need to try out making home widgets for Cocoon in Flutter with @abausg.bsky.social's package 👀 May even be a nifty little bonus for my talk about Flutter and external/dual displays at the end of the month..

Felt sad. Bought unnecessary big amount of Board games and components (And this isn't even all) Now I just need people to play with. Easy!

After years of being an online-only Zombicide fan... Finally got myself some good fucking cardboard and minis. Also pledged Dead Men Tales (Pirates???? <333), and still waiting for all 5 "Classic" boxes as well as an all-new Undead or Alive (Western) KS Pledge with all the things (Steampunk! <3)

Game boxes for Zombicide 2nd Edition, the Kickstarter exclusive Reboot Box, as well as two campaign expansions being Washington Z.C. and Fort Hendrix.

Emotional cat is here to get a pat when I go to the office in the morning, and is still here when I go back home to get more pats. Even took a video but I sound TERRIBLE after the sleepless night & the fucking stairs of doom.

Cat waiting in the small park next to the upper end of the stairs. She got a lot of pats.

Did you know that apparently tricolor cats can only be female?

Shoutout to the "separate the work from the artist" fucking joke and to the guy being tolerant about Rowling's "opinion" of harming Trans kids. No Alt on the pictures, sorry, I don't want to write this transphobic shit with my hands.

Some guy on Discord really just went ahead and told me ethics were a legend in 2026 so the argument of genAI being unethically trained is a non-issue and we should use tools as we see fit. :) Two people in my DMs already decided this person was 100% far-right.

Meï @meineeds.rest · 13/09/2025

I swear scammers are stupid. But I wish they couldn't use "but i can't send screenshots in DMs" as an excuse. Please make that possible. (Also so I can annoy @wolfenra.in with them)

Completed a 101% run of DK64 with the Tag Anywhere mod today It really makes the game play so much smoother, enjoyed it a lot more than back then. <3

000

Meï @meineeds.rest · 29/07/2025

With the hype around DK and Bananza, I thought I should remind people that DK64 really is an awesome game, held back by its character swap system. But it can be fixed, with the Tag Anywhere mod. I swear it's life-changing, and allows the game to shine brighter than it ever did. Highly recommended!

Tired of Minecraft hosting services.. So I decided to host my own. Will probably also host some Starbound, maybe Terraria, SRB2Kart, Ring Racers, bot and stuff through it. Feels good to finally get to put something like that in place <3 Not done yet, though..
