Finally released all the PCB and model files for my WavePhoenix-MSBM-Altboard variant of the @loopj.com Wavephoenix for the Gamecube Wavebird. Check it out if you are having trouble sourcing the chipset used in the stock design. github.com/MehStrongBad...

This is more of a what-if style proof of concept, I wondered if it would be be handy to have a direct GameCube Wavebird USB receiver utilizing my variant of the @loopj.com Wavephoenix. Turns out it wasn't too difficult to put together, and it actually looks fairly clean (but looks can be deceiving).

Finally put together my first completed WavePhoenix, a replacement receiver for the GameCube Wavebird controller. I modified @loopj.com's original pcb design to use an alternate package, as the recommended one was completely out of stock. Works perfectly!
