Here’s to simple solutions. Once in a while it’s gratifying to be reminded that not all solutions are complex; some are about seeing what’s actually in front of your nose and making appropriate use of it. <feeling slightly smart>

Lovely. Let’s hope that the rule of law holds sufficiently that when the proud boys violate this ruling, they get held to account for it in very painful ways.

This would be useful if the entire purpose of the GQP's current efforts was to delegitimize and undermine the rule of law in service of an authoritarian takeover. They've already claimed they don't have to obey court orders they don't like. Terrifying...and increasing volatility dangerously.

This is the central thesis of the writings of Curtis Yarvin - aka 'Mencius Moldbug' - a mendacious blogging idiot whose playbook the current administration is following to a T. He's had JO Davenport Vance's ear for a couple of years now.

That last sentence says it all. He's an elected representative, and working against a corrupted executive that ignores the rule of law. He needs to be pushing back HARD.

In a world where the governing institutions that provide guardrails to preserve the rule of law have been suborned by the authoritarian GQP, what can ordinary citizens do to push back?
