let’s say i have my own experience of running an NSFW event for quite some time and here is what i would recommend: Run the events Group only, Age verified instances, add a pre-lobby to your venue with a clear disclaimer text and user action to confirm joining and have active moderation ofc ~ *^ω^*

Moving to another platform is just pushing things to sooner or later but it will become standard and default on every social/web platform around the world very soon anyway. The key is how it is done ig but i dont think any solution will anyway satisfy everyone.

I don’t think the matter here completely depends of the platforms we are using, so in the end that you use service A,B, C or D; the various acts around age verification and related subjects does not depend on this platforms; such as the DSA for EU for example. They just have to comply anyway.

in other words i could understand someone rejecting another criticisme if it is purely based on negativity over someone else work. But i am sure if someone points something negative with a « instead you should » or « here is how to solve/get help with that »; that makes it constructive and positive.

I think in general, no matter the context or topic, getting positive/negative criticism is a good thing to progress. But I think any negative criticisme, as true as it can be, should be done with a good intention, and come with a SOLUTION. That is what peeps forget mostly, especially on internet ->

and so is lacking some features, nor having a power brick or all the straps/accessories in the box and the battery life on standalone is kinda bad; i personally think it is not worth it. I don’t think just Steam OS itself and eye tracking justify it being 2 times more expensive than a quest 3

めぐみ｢M36_M1｣ @megumimusic.net · 15/09/2026

my take on this, i don’t think it’s a bad one, and i think its good for people who care about Steam OS and doing standalone as it is better on this than quest 3. That said, the fact is cost like twice more for lacking color passthrough and depth sensor, 3.5mm jack, doesn’t have really better screens
