Molina Healthcare shrinks its ACA business in 2027 to eke out profits from the smaller & sicker patients, after the expiration of subsidies. Molina’s ACA membership fell from 655,000 @ 4Q 2025 to 283,000 in 2Q after the insurer raised rates 30% on average to reduce its exposure to the exchanges.
