mind boggling, right? 😂 haha, it happened during the during the holidays. i figured out the trick to it… playing on my PC (via GamePass) works… being closer to the screen doesn’t make me dizzy! i’m not the greatest, not by far, but enjoying it!! you definitely got the ball rolling, tho!

It's a bit awkward seeing people dunking on tiktok users and acting like they're being overdramatic when Those same people were... I don't know, acting a certain kind of way about having to rebuild here after leaving Twitter Which was also a much different scenario than what's happening to tiktok

2025 marks five years since Watch Dogs: Legion released, yet still to this day i’ve always hoped we would get a fourth entry. but with everything Ubisoft is going through at the moment, i’m sadly thinking it won’t happen. but hey, at least we have the Watch Dogs movie to look forward to, right? 🎮

i have to admit… #TheGameAwards this year was the best in years. for once the speeches didn’t feel rushed, the trailers were great & it was a fun show overall — these were my favorite announcements from the show. can’t wait to get my hands on them in the upcoming months!! 🎮

# 6 Hot Take: people need to stop taking themselves so seriously in online gaming. it’s a GAME. don’t lash out at a teammate if you lose, there’s always another match! there’s too much happening in the world for you to freak out/rage quit over a silly video game that has zero IRL consequences.

000 0

🎮 meg 🎮 @megoobuh.bsky.social · 10/12/2024

# 5 Hot Take: Uncharted: Golden Abyss was an amazing addition to the Vita library, and it’s incredibly underrated. it should one day be ported (with a few tweaks for touch pads) for PS5 so we can get the true Nathan Drake experience

100 1

🎮 meg 🎮 @megoobuh.bsky.social · 10/12/2024

MOOOOD. starting to slowly not use the term backlog though, because then i’ll get anxiety over how many games i need to play 😂 but rather look at it as a plethora of games I get to go on an adventure with… eventually 😅

020 2

🎮 meg 🎮 @megoobuh.bsky.social · 10/12/2024

honestly i think that’s what’ll happen for you. there’s one part of the game i find highly annoying, but if you take it for what it is, it’s a fun game despite its flaws. hope you get to check it out!

120 2

🎮 meg 🎮 @megoobuh.bsky.social · 10/12/2024

# 4 Hot Take: this might be the most controversial one? Hideo Kojima is overrated. yes, he made several great games (i even enjoy them!), but some of y’all act like he’s this… god-like creature… it’s disturbing. he’s just a dude that has some good ideas like other designers.

110 1

🎮 meg 🎮 @megoobuh.bsky.social · 10/12/2024

# 3 Hot Take: $70 price point is (mostly) justified. we had $60 AAA titles for several game generations, it was only a matter of time. yearly releases, however, is where i don’t feel the price hike is justified (Madden, COD, etc.)

110 1

🎮 meg 🎮 @megoobuh.bsky.social · 10/12/2024

# 2 Hot Take: remakes/remasters should not be eligible for GOTY — or any awards, except “best remake/remaster”. that should be for new entries, new games, etc… not ones where they’re polished up, or it “feels like a brand new game”.

110 1

🎮 meg 🎮 @megoobuh.bsky.social · 10/12/2024

# 1 Hot Take: Saints Row (2022) isn’t nearly as bad as everyone says. yes, it has its flaws, but once you look past the fact Johnny, Shaundi, etc weren’t in it, it’s a fun time. (y’all should’ve known this would be the first lol. there’s a LOT more to say on it… maybe i’ll make a video??)
