The book I'm reading recommended upon waking, open your eyes, and look (or listen) to find something beautiful. Smile. I did it this morning and found a beautiful beam of sunlight. I remembered that I am alive. I smiled. And I felt joy!

Today I told who I thought was a gender expansive individual wearing a cool capey robe dress thing that they had a “great look!” and then realized they were outside a Catholic Church and it was in fact a member of the clergy.
