wanted to experiment a little so i did a study on an old peach by gelatingent from back in the day while also adding my own personal touches (really wanted to draw clouds again, and something other than the ice mom for the first time in months).

princess peach, perniciously plump with a protruding paunch, standing firm on a cobblestone walkway that miracuously hasn't started cracking under her weight yet with a slice of cake in one hand and a pie/mini cake/ cookie ice cream sandwich thing in the other. she's mildly disinterested, only peering at her pound packing confections with a glazed look in her eyes and hazing, winded breath. peach is also wearing an ill-fitting short sleeve shirt with hemming failing to cover the entirety of her chest leaving some of her breast exposed along with what was once considered pants now riding up near her bulbous backside and with tearing fabric (she wants to turn them into a thong in due time).

also lookie, modest looking grass and a beautiful looking sky with clouds (i like drawing clouds, it puts me in a zen like state).

today is march 9th, meaning it's my darling tinkerer marianne's birthday and six years since starting full steam ahead. while i have no new art for her on this special day due to a load of time constraints and seasonal rut, let me take you on a journey of marianne's past from her origin to now.

the initial sketch of marianne i came up with back in march 2020 from the inside of a field office in brooklyn. all of this stemming from reading over a conversation between two friends about their ocs the night before that motivated me to create something i can truly call my own.

yeah this is extremely rough around the edges, one of the first drawings i had done in years at the time but hey we all have humble beginnings.

a marianne from 2022 following heavy refinement to her design with the background inspired by a comm i received from lwb back in 2021 that helped solidify her apprearance. i really need to update that wrench to make it more of her own. also in the back is a model of Tinkertoy No. 923 (now numbered TBD) in the DrillBreaker, as mentioned in multiple of her stories and to be featured in Journey to the Center of Nothing.

a marianne from 2024 following an overhaul to her outfit to give her more of a steampunk feel rather than just basic shirt. please say hi back to her.

and lastly, the most recent marianne of mine from a year ago today, featuring kim in the background before her minor tuneup in september, back when i was still choosing between emotive or static glasses for the drummer.

melony's known as the ice-cold professional, so why is she melting my heart? happy valentine's day one and all, and of course i mark the day with the ice mom because of course i did.

melony from pokemon shield, lovingly large, laying lavishly on a queen size mattress and taking up most of it because she tried to do this on the loveseat for the nominal nod but she couldn't squeeze herself to fit.

she's lying on her rolled belly with her left hand curled towards her plump visage, curing her index finger playfully towards the viewer inviting them into her chilly yet bubbly embrace with a box of chocloates by her side. dressed in a white laced brassiere made complete with a cute green bow similar in color to her hair, snowflakes splashed in freefall against said bra and undies stretching to their limit to where one must wonder how she got them on and how long will they last?

melony from pokemon, sufficiently stout shoving her stomach into squishy sweatpants, looks on endearingly partly towards the viewer and also at her heaving belly if not for the marshmellowy melons that is her cest obscuring a decent amount of that view. her left hand is firmly squishing into her gut with her thumb on flabby flesh and the other on suprisingly elastic cotton with how a sweatpants styled design of her normal pants hasn't completely burst at the seams yet.

so here we are again, end of the year already? as is tradition with me i'd like to highlight my personal favorites for 2025, though i have to admit it was really a tough pick to get to just four. context for each in the alt text including some bluesky exclusive thoughts, woah.

the love she carries: feels like forever since i've drawn pyra in an endearing, sweet, and non-girlfailure housewife kind of way, so why not pay homage to the first big girl piece i ever made with the blade by having her bubbly and happy. also my favorite background of the year, man those clouds are amazing. yeah the grass could be better but to be honest, i just like a euphoric, beeg pyra. also it was my first time actually drawing her armor, somewhat. look i don't do armor for a good reason but man i'm still proud of how it all came out.

man i love flapjacks: death, taxes, and mega pining for the ice mom; such are certainties in life. my award for the most unsung piece i've done, while a few of the melonys i've done often fall under the radar this was one that i wished fared better. i mean it has snom in it, snom. that and some mighty fine pancakes. feel like i could have done the hair a bit better, especially with shading which improved later on in the year but i mean it's melony making a fat stack of flapjacks and based on the crown zenith card, what more do you want?

splash and floe: undoubtedly my personal favorite piece of the year i've done and if there was any i'm glad came out this year making it two straight with monthly ice moms it's this one. the posing, the water rippling, the balmy sunlight, a good cloud, and postmark aesthetic just hit for me you know?

mom pants avalanche: i struggled immensely to round out the top four, mostly to avoid it being oops all melony. the peaches were good but some nagging bits lingered on with me (for the sightseeing peach pic it's some background elements that felt weak, for the remake its the text on the shirt, could have warped it better). rosalina at the diner was my most popular piece this year but that burger hut in the window is nowhere near what it should have been in terms of quality. there was that cynthia too i guess, but i dunno, something about shoving the ice mom into mom pants just makes my heart sing. the age of 50 is in demand and i'm its humble supplier and buyer.

melony from pokemon, festively flabby, pleasuably looking towards the viewer dressed in a (massively) skimpy santa claus outfit to where the only things that remarkably fit her are the boots, pants (how), and gloves. the top now serves to showcase the glorified boob window since the rest of it tore to shreds under her heaving cleavage necessitating the cuts to everything but the sleeves and the base. also she's fat so her belly wasn't fitting into any of that, wow.

dressed with a bobbly santa hat and scarf similar to her own normal attire, she's holding a partially eaten christmas cookie and a bottle of non-descript beverage so tpc doesn't immediately run down and break my kneecaps and/or 4kids replaces it with a jelly filled donut.

with a wink and a smile, melony heralds the angels to my door saying, "oh ho ho ho, someone's been a hard working man this year. why don't you get santa more cookies and you can stuff her stocking, if you know what i mean." whether she's referring to letting you gorge herself or rocking around the christmas tree is up to intrepretation.

duel was my jam when it was around. mobile gacha successor to the trading figure game from the mid 2000s with generous rates that sunset six years ago ending on a cliffhanger i'm still sore about. i really liked duel with a bop of an ost and wish they'd try this again someday.
