This one is thought-provoking to say the least. It’s odd that he never mentions genealogists (in the company of historians, archaeologists, etc.) in spite of the fact that there’s a conspicuous genealogical element to the book, but it will still get you pondering! #genealogy

Just finished Nathan Dylan Goodwin's 1st in his new series and love it! While it's not genealogy-centric, it's genealogy-adjacent, so you'll get your fill of city directories, vital records, etc. Great location, timing, characters, but above all, story. I want this to become a TV series! #genealogy

Ah, we called the thing that looked like this the horse and the other the Swedish box. I wasn't athletic so preferred the horse as it resulted in less damage to my shins and other body parts (had my share of spectacular splats). 😅 Glad you have fond memories!
