Sports is evolving right now on ABC/ESPN. NCAA 🏐 chmps is a thriller, first time a female coach will win a title, and many of these players will stay in the U.S. instead of going to Europe now, thanks to 2 new pro leagues here.

If we all find 100 posts to like every day, engagement and good will on @bsky.app grows exponentially. Is it worth a few minutes to make the platform stronger ?

School shootings are the great shame of our time, and they weren't even a talking point in the election. Sandy Hook and the lack of response were the worst things that have happened in this country (at least tied for worst).

Post-#IUFB game, I’m reading a lot of: “Told you, OSU is an elite team, and since you lost to an elite team, on the road, you don’t belong in the playoffs.” CFB fans do not understand the concept of counterintuitive. Right up there with “IU only beats teams who lose games.”

At this rate, Joanna Gaines is a shoe-in for Secretary of the Interior.

Think of any 21 year old you know. Could they handle this kind of pressure? 🌡️ Win the match to keep Spain in it 🌡️ Help a legend retire 🌡️ Perk up a country reeling from a natural disaster #Alcaraz

Is BSky the place to discuss whether Hollywood (Heretic, in this case) has standing to criticize the suspended disbelief that’s key to religion? Movies don’t pretend they are real, but they do traffic in Truth, making artistic statements for influence (and money). Just a little Tuesday musing.

Should be a conversation: how women’s doubles could take advantage of the women’s sports movement, which is largely team-fueled. Market 2x teams and incentivize them to stay together. Easier to follow/root for a team. #wtatennis @wtatour.bsky.social

TC noted that Sinner’s amazing year - only 6 losses - included a couple injuries and illness. No mention of the drama around the drug tests that surely weighed on his mind. #nittoatpfinals

This season’s tennis candle - not gimmicky, a high-quality collab between Linnea’s Lights and Baseline Social, a great tennis boutique. Cute box, too. shopbaselinesockal.com .
