I was interviewed by a terrifying mailman who asked more than 7 killer questions about my work covering @ghmofficial.bsky.social games and @sssuda51.bsky.social as an artist over the past ten years or so. Please watch and tell me if I have failed!

Shadow Labyrinth just looks like Billy Mitchell's perspective of his place within Pac-Man history.

I love KILLER IS DEAD but I'm man enough to admit it took me eight years from the day I started on PC to finish grinding Gigolo Mode. How I did it in one month on Xbox is totally beyond comprehension.

I find it really funny how we can't prove SUDA51 didn't colour his shoes with that marker.

This is gonna be me next year if Elden Ring Nightreign wins instead of Deadburgh.

I'm never taking this NMH3 shirt off again. 🥲

I'm cooked. I literally thought this guy accepting the Astro Bot award was wearing a Dead Food Market shirt.

What was your favourite part from NO MORE HEROES? Mine was when Travis charged up his ki and started flying around popping off his gun.

In my GhM Direct recap this year, I jokingly cited Massimo Guarini as the drummer of Grasshopper Demanufacture. This was a real band at GhM featuring staff Akira Yamaoka, Daniel Markiewicz, Gez Fry, Kazutoshi Iida, and Guarini, and they played publicly at least once at HOPPER's4.

MEGAnaire @meganaire.bsky.social · 14/12/2024

What was that about Little Grasshopper, @tronknotts.bsky.social? 😂

Watching the Game Awards every year wears me out and makes me feel like I'm gaming wrong...

LOL dude I don't have the stamina to comprehend how a 2024 title can win Best Ongoing Game.

Sumio never got to use his bonus beam katana in FSR DS. So without further ado, here's why you never call a man Suit-face.

Happy Tetsumio Tuesday. I'm returning to my manipulative Sumio roots. I might make a series of short scenes but for now I just need this off my desk. archiveofourown.org/works/60972568

Somebody should make a Kill the Past or No More Heroes experience in Roblox because I'm running out of GhM fan games to write about. How can you tell me with a straight face that there isn't one NMH obby on the whole platform? 😅

@ghmofficial.bsky.social / @enginesoftware.bsky.social Hey guys, will there be much support for SotDHR moving forward? There's a wonderful scene at the very end of the game that sort of falls apart due to missing dialogue. How am I supposed to know if our princess is in another castle? 🤷🏻‍♂️

MEGAnaire @meganaire.bsky.social · 11/12/2024

Didn't realize you could patent throwing an object and having something come out of it. Games with grenades are quiet right now.

Disciple of Ryan skin was a massively missed opportunity, ngl.

MEGAnaire @meganaire.bsky.social · 11/12/2024

I absolutely love this SotD artwork. There's so much tension in the alleyway, and it's only heightened by knowing how it all turns out in the game's opening chapter.

Taking a wild guess here and saying the Entory building's STORY WHISKY ad seen when the Killer7 faced the Handsomemen was a reference to SUNTORY WHISKY, which was once even advertised at Times Square.

It seems KILLER IS DEAD contains an unused model for Moon River. 🌑

010

MEGAnaire @meganaire.bsky.social · 11/12/2024

Fun fact: when Moon River signs a contract with Bryan's firm at the end of KILLER IS DEAD, she is actually signing another copy of Alice's warrant. Clerical error. Could happen to anybody.

Enh, I think Victor stole more than just her ears.

I can't explain why but I find this shack in the background super distracting haha. I'm trying to dice Tsubaki and it's just crouching in the back like HeLLoOoOo.

I'm about to call an emergency meeting here.

Longshot but please take note. This is the proper way to deliver a 25th Ward keitai phone to @rockmancosmo.bsky.social. Anything else would just be careless.

MEGAnaire @meganaire.bsky.social · 11/12/2024

Hello, I heard you like KILLER IS DEAD.

110

MEGAnaire @meganaire.bsky.social · 11/12/2024

In KILLER IS DEAD, Mondo was once meant to encounter humans like himself during the episode The Giant who Stole a Planet. Whether they were modified by science or Wire hybrids, we'll never know.

000

MEGAnaire @meganaire.bsky.social · 11/12/2024

Definitely never seen this meter before in my life 😏

010

MEGAnaire @meganaire.bsky.social · 11/12/2024

Absurdly specific Canadian trivia but the other day I realized the uncredited lady Kenny hired to foil Spenny's blowhorn strategy on Kenny vs Spenny was Judy Sinclair, who also played this badass witch grandma on an episode of Are You Afraid of the Dark 🤯

Travis' personal belongings in TSA are difficult to spot in the game, but here they are on full display. Glastonbury and Death Parade models, journals, books on conspiracies, geometry, karate, life on the road, and even somehow TSA itself.

120

MEGAnaire @meganaire.bsky.social · 11/12/2024

This dude is one of the things that perplexes me the most about TSA. He shows up like an Assist Trophy, mid-fight with Brian Buster Jr, and the preceding level doesn't really prepare you for his appearance. I wanted to know more about him, but the files just call him GiantRobot.

You've been assigned to make a GhM tribute but you can't pick between killer7, SINE MORA, and LET IT DIE, so you stick them all together:

When planning Shadows of the DAMNED, the original role of Paula was split into two characters, Johnson and Paula Wellington. The original design and function of Paula was later revisited in the form of the Black Hellebore from BLACK KNIGHT SWORD.

MEGAnaire @meganaire.bsky.social · 11/12/2024

In the handheld port of Flower, Sun, and Rain, one of Sumio's extra costumes is meant to mimic Travis Touchdown. Although his tee seems out of place, it is actually a throwback to the costume worn by Sayaka Baian in her final film role, as advertised in the Lospass guidebook.
