This looks like a useful method. Unfortunately I'm allergic to spreadsheets. I have a diagram drawn in illustrator. It's mostly useful apart from a section in the middle which I think is an attempt to also use the desk for dub mixes as opposed to the usual set up for tracking instruments.

Picked up some Bose Quiet Comfort ear buds for my new daily drivers. The >ᛒ dongle for my Shure SE435s is on the way out. Intrigued by the thin high minds that got through the noise cancelling filter at swimming lessons. Anyway, I figured I needed some new sounds to test their capabilities.

Thanks for this guide. I went along to Hanover Sq on the basis of your recommendation. Saw the Hockney and Gillian exhibitions because I had a few hours before going to 180 Strand for Data Cosm by Ryoji Ikeda.

Still got all the stairs woodwork and the door faces to do across three floors which will take a while but that's for another day.

Today, I'm painting the top coats on the four walls above the stairs and landing. Once done, I'll have painted pretty much the whole house in the last 6 months. Felt in a Beaumont Hannant kind of mood so currently listening to Texturology.

It has been a long time coming but I have finally got my stereo back out of storage. Nearly a year without a turntable and I've a few new LPs to try but first up is the recent one from Cymande.

I got my baking down these days but the new kitchen oven is a proper upgrade. No need to turn the batch half way, much better steam retention and it gets a bit hotter as well. Result.
