Don't get on Brenda's bad side or you may just get smooshed in a cramped elevator by those enormous cheeks of hers...

I hate being so inactive on here but I haven't done much worth sharing in the past few weeks. Here's a sketch page from a little bit back to fill the time!

lil lineart thing for 8/8 with Sath! She has a pretty deceptive capacity, enough to devour a score of land dwellers should she so desire! She’s also proper sloshed

In and out of a big art block rn, I wonder if there will come a day where I don’t seethe with self-hatred about deciding I wanted to be an artist in my mid-twenties, instead of knowing since early childhood like most others seem to have

Megafish36 @megafish36.bsky.social · 14/07/2026

I always feel terrible relying on others to help my own growth like that, but that's really just how it is. Either way, the idea of someone enjoying my work enough to want others to see it means a hell of a lot more than just a number that sometimes gets bigger

I know personally RTing stuff has high power. Sharing someone's work can change the trajectory of their day. and add comfort to how they feel about sharing. it seems very trivial but the concept of like "hey this is great im going to show literally everyone I know on here" is actually very strong

That shit really sucks. I sometimes get upset about how British cuisine is seen by the rest of the world, but it keeps turning out that with actions like this it’s very much our own fault for a lot of our bad perceptions

Megafish36 @megafish36.bsky.social · 12/07/2026

I’m probably guilty of this at times. It happens when that first moment of engaging with the piece is seeing something that naturally just doesn’t appeal, but the entire internet seems to think it’s the best thing they’ve ever seen. Even something reasonable makes it seem like your view sucks then

Lesla-Lar has come such a long way. From cute little unappreciated nerd to the mighty hero Luminary. If you aren‘t reading @mooncalfe1.bsky.social’s Supergirl run, you’re absolutely missing out.

A drawing of Lesla-Lar from the Supergirl comics, in both her skinny nerdy true form and her muscular heroic Luminary form.

I always think that once gaming is taken seriously by everyone as a form of media there will be some kind of standardisation for all of this stuff. It's kinda reaching that point now, so maybe we'll see

010

Megafish36 @megafish36.bsky.social · 11/07/2026

Not to be hugely dry but it's always interesting how much of this comes from some people using terms as a floating reference point based on their own time, while others use them as absolutes that fit onto a timeline. Something like how historians vs regular people use words like Antique and Modern
