When I write about Luz and Amity, Lapis Lazuli, Ragatha, this is how I view these characters and how my own personal stories and experiences apply to them, and I think that is extremely cool. It is nearly impossible to detach that, EVERYTHING I write is deeply personal.

I deeply value storytelling in nerdcore. We are all obviously drawing from stories and characters that exist, but in writing based on that, we are projecting our own interpretations on the exact same shows that you watch. Steven Universe, TADC, The Owl House, this is how I see these shows.

My deepest gratitude to @danaterrace.bsky.social for inspiring my passion for songwriting and storytelling in nerdcore that would culminate in guesting at Momocon and performing a set of a lifetime. I owe a lot to you, The Owl House, and the success of Just Friends. Thank you 🙏💙

There is also a larger conversation to be had about the burgouise depending on in-fighting amongst the proletariat but I feel like no one is ready for that conversation

Seeing the leftist creatives I respect complain about cancel culture and the Twitter mob is so wild to me like that's how you know things have gotten out of hand. I've always been a firm believer that "cancel culture" only truly harms marginalized targets

Pragmata is really just repeating Bioshock Infinite and The Last Of Us in men being super creepy and weird about daughter fantasies. She is probably a cute and fun character, men are just inevitably gonna be weird about it

How's everyone doing on this platform? I've been playing a lot of Expedition 33, prepping this year's music releases, planning for cons, and jamming to some Of Mice & Men and blessthefall.

Years on and people in the comments are still mad because they think Steven U was a literal instruction manual for fighting real-life fascism instead of a fantasy allegory for kids about non-violent conflict resolution with friends and family.

MUSICIANS: so traditionally bands would put out a record/single and then tour it so anyone would notice at all. sometimes for years and years straight if you're a non-touring online musician, don't ever STOP your "release cycle". my song roller coaster eyes was 2019 but its legs are STILL climbing

twitter post from emplexx that says "kinda fucked up that if your song flops you can't just release it again to get a different outcome"

I wanna put this theory to the test in a bit: the parry window on Doom Dark Ages' stock difficulties is WAY too lenient. I feel like I am mashing parry and being rewarded for completely bypassing any semblance of spatial awareness.

Every commercial font we've ever made, all zipped up in one pack. There are handwriting fonts, techno fonts, pixel art - the whole pack has a vast range of genres and vibes to choose from. Use them in game dev, books, album covers, ttrpgs, web comics etc ci.itch.io/all-fonts-pack #gamedev #booksky

If Metallica were up and coming in the 2000s, you can bet your ass there would've been Lars/Hetfield slash fiction.

I think what would be really funny and cool as a publicity stunt is if they released the source code for Doom 2016 and went "make it run on everything"
