Truthfully, I'm so ready for this therapeutic D&D class to be over. I started off being excited about it, to now where I'm just tolerating through it.

Just because I'm done with spriting doesn't mean I'm done with the Pokémon OCs entirely haha Wanted to return to the original guy who started the whole thing, the Electric-type Gym Leader, Reed, and fill in a Bulbapedia-styled article of him so there's some more info and lore! (And an updated team)

Alrighty, I think I am officially done with my spriting stuff! It was a ton of fun to make all these OCs and sprite them the best I could. I'll look into trying to sprite the region and the cities sometime in the future, but for now I think this is it! I'd love to know any of your favorites!

If they were to do another game in this universe, I would honestly love a Great Undoing game where we do get that more modern tech stuff while also being largely removed from Dagda and Fodlan.

Overall, I had a lot of fun, but something that might be controversial is that I really don't want another game set in this world. While they set up a lot of potential for another game to be set in the same world, we need to branch away.

The Clashes were honestly a great way to have quicker battles in the game. Especially in Part 3, I was hoping any and all of the overworld encounters would just be clashes, and most of them were. This does make me wonder if they might play with a FE spin-off that builds on the Clash system here.

The music is also very good. Some of my favorite tracks being: "The Blaze - Cycle of the Sun," "Moonlight Visions," "A Life of Glory," "Storm of Petals," and "Daughter of Kunlun." The voice acting is overall pretty good with a few characters sounding a bit off.

What I found so surprising is how much influence of different cultures were in the game overall! From the trailers, I was getting some Spanish influence for sure, but there's such a wonderful surprise of Chinese, African, and Pacific Island influence that I really found beautiful to see.

Enough about story stuff since I don't have much else. I will say I love the design and aesthetics of the game, it's not only very pretty, but the class designs are all so fun to look at and really cool! And the character designs are really nice and unique to look at!

And Talimun...oh Talimun...he's cool and has some interesting relationships in the game, but my God it's similar to Orchel where it's so brushed off and off screen that it's hard to really take notice.

Anatolia is fun for the more scifi stuff I'd love to see and after finding the message from Orpheus, it only got me more intrigued. Bertrand is a really compelling character and probably gets the most development of the "sub" Flame Lords since he's pretty involved in the core of the Dagsion Games.

MediocreLee @mediocrelee.bsky.social · 28/09/2026
And I don't mean mask thing since I know you see that in Dietrich's path, but I mean the fact that she was created to be Yu Phas, a pretty important figurehead of the lore, and yet I feel like it was so brushed over that it makes me wonder why.

MediocreLee @mediocrelee.bsky.social · 28/09/2026
I also wanna talk about the "sub" Flame Lords in the form of Orchel, Talimun, Anatolia, and Bertrand. Specifically with Orchel, I want more of her! She's one of the most fascinating and lore relevant characters, and yet I feel so much of her stuff is off screen.

I will say Part 2 and Part 3 did feel like slogs to go through after a certain point. The maps felt so big that it felt a bit tedious to go through. I did like that they changed stuff up with miasma, but map design overall was kinda just meh aside from aesthetics and music.

Like I want to see and know more about the Mediatiors, the people of the White Egg, Kunlun, Nuwa, etc. because it's so facinating and so different from most FE games that it would have been such a stand out for me. Yes, I know we gotta stick with the traditional fantasy, but sprinkle some newness.

MediocreLee @mediocrelee.bsky.social · 28/09/2026
My main gripe with the scifi stuff is that in Theodora's route, you get these really cool ominous cutscenes of what looks like a modern city and I was hoping we could see more of that and explore it, but it's all relegated as deep ancient lore of the Great Undoing.

MediocreLee @mediocrelee.bsky.social · 28/09/2026
I also really enjoyed the magitek/scifi vibes a lot! It's a surprise when it comes to FE in particular, but seeing firearms and actual technology was so cool. Something I'm a bit sad and disappointed about is that we don't actually get to see more of it outside of discovering the ruins and lore.

While Part 3 literally hinges on the directions of Eshmel, it felt like the unified cause made Eshmel stand out as a beacon in a dire situation rather than being the sole reason why the main characters are doing what they're doing. And for that, I appreciate Eshmel's part in the narrative.

MediocreLee @mediocrelee.bsky.social · 28/09/2026
An aspect that I didn't think I'd like as much as I did was Eshmel/the Promised One! The Avatar character can be hit or miss for me in FE games, but Eshmel felt so fun. And while yes, their intervention helps the Flame Lords, there's not this huge reliance on them like how Byleth was.

MediocreLee @mediocrelee.bsky.social · 28/09/2026
And Leda. I love Leda a lot, she's among one of my favorite characters in the cast, but she's written so one-note for the majority of the game. She has such a compelling story and backstory, but the vengeance plot and dialogue really detract from what could have been great development.

MediocreLee @mediocrelee.bsky.social · 28/09/2026
For example, Theodora is literally the focal point of Part 2. The other Flame Lords are secondary characters at best during Part 2. Dietrich's path gets pretty nice lore, but that's about it. Cai's is fine, but that's just it, it's fine, nothing really stands out.

MediocreLee @mediocrelee.bsky.social · 28/09/2026
Overall, I did really enjoy the game! However, what I will say is that I think it felt a bit too ambitious for its own good in the sense that not all paths were really created equal. Of course, balancing four paths is an endeavor to begin with, which only makes me question...why did they do that?

Finished Fortune's Weave and saw this thing. Also, I don't actually dislike Sirocco that much, I don't really dislike most of the characters generally speaking, but Sirocco did rub me the wrong way a bit with how self-righteous he was sounding against Buccar during a certain point...

What's this? You have BOTH parents? Indeedee you do! Your mother is the Daycare lady, which is how you'd be exposed to Pokémon early on. Your father not only acts as mascot for the Daycare, but also is the "Gym" guy! Very much the encouraging, "Champ in the making!"

Let your power take control! Feel it burning in your soul! There's no time to hestitate, it's time to evolve your fate! Power beyond evolution, united together for a revolution! Together we stand as one, we fear none! Eon Rangers, power beyond evolution!

Attuned to the Eon Rangers is Eon Pink! Finnigan joins the Eon Rangers after having been their team mentor since the beginning. He regained his powers and joined in on the fight, feeling it to be necessary as part of his fate. His Sylvan Whip might look flimsy, but it can do a lot of damage!

The Nature's Two are longtime friends and allies of the Eon Rangers before they became Eon Rangers themselves! Once they were bestowed the power, they joined in and have proved their place as part of the team despite massive outcry and protest for their inclusion.

MediocreLee @mediocrelee.bsky.social · 25/09/2026
Falling into the ranks of the Eon Rangers is Eon White! Lumi appears to have an icy disposition, but she's actually a fun-loving woman who enjoys good food and even better battles. However, she is a bit fragile when it comes down to it. Her Glacial Bow can freeze anything in an instant!

MediocreLee @mediocrelee.bsky.social · 25/09/2026
Branching into the ranks of the Eon Rangers is Eon Green! Calm, down-to-earth, and naturally very grounded, Sawyer naturally takes care of others. He tends to plants often and works as a gardener. His Leaf Blade is very sharp despite how thin it is, and he can slice anything in two!

The more I'm playing the war arc the more I'm just wondering...why give the choice of who to play when it's so centralized around Theodora?

Finally finished all of the part 1 arcs of Fortune's Weave. If I had to rank the arcs it'd go: Theodora as my favorite, Leda, Cai, then Dietrich.

The Cosmic Duo comprised of Eon Purple and Eon Black, were originally enemies of the Eon Rangers! After being defeated time and time again and seeing that the Eon Rangers are fighting for good, the Cosmic Duo reformed and joined the Eon Rangers on their quest to save the world.

MediocreLee @mediocrelee.bsky.social · 24/09/2026
Part of the Cosmic Duo is Eon Black! Bold, dangerous, and mischievous, Glyph has a very stubborn personality that causes her to not back down. She is incredibly protective of those she deems worthy. Her Umber Rings are scary and she throws them with incredible precision!

Part of the Cosmic Duo is Eon Purple! Mystical, mysterious, and with a dry sense of humor, Rune has a watchful eye and intelligence that intimidates a lot of people. She's very attuned to spirituality. Her Esper Staff fuels her attacks and will leave you confused and dazed!
